CATHOLIC CHURCH TEACHINGS ON DOCTRINE AND MORALITY ARE NOT POPULARITY CONTESTS.

But this position, as well as several others honored much more in the breach than in the observance by the loyal Laity,  warrant re-visiting.  The current situation is corrosive to the effectiveness and to the relevance of other teachings of the Magisterium.
