Just before she first ran for president in 2020, Kamala Harris joined the Sisters of Perpetual Indulgence (SPI) on stage for a “Pride” event in San Francisco. She laughed, clapped, and posed for “the selfie of the century.”

This is the same group that sparked a national backlash against the L.A. Dodgers last year. This is the same group of perverted men that mock Catholic religious sisters. And the same group that uses Our Lord as a sex prop…that mock the Blessed Virgin Mary, and have used imitations of the sacrament of the Holy Eucharist as a perverted sexual prop.

The so-called “Sisters” regularly hold “Hunky Jesus” competitions, where adult drag performers dress as Our Lord and even His Holy Mother – and perform stripteases, simulate sex acts, and mock the crucifixion.

In one horrific case, SPI members even tricked a Catholic archbishop into giving them the Holy Eucharist – then took the consecrated host off to desecrate it in a mock-Mass.

And Kamala Harris proudly celebrated “gay pride” with them!

Of course, numerous Catholic bishops have condemned SPI.

As Bishop Robert Barron said: “For Catholics, it’s hard to imagine anything more offensive.”

And yet Harris not only shared a stage with this sacrilegious anti-Catholic hate group – she dances, laughs, and celebrates with one of their most prominent leaders – “Sister Roma.”

This is more blatant than Harris saying faithful Catholics shouldn’t be allowed to serve as judges…

It’s an even worse insult than forcing taxpayers to fund “transgender” surgeries on children and prison inmates…

And worse than promising to end Catholic health care in America.

This is a mockery of Our Lord…

I wanted to tell you about last Thursday night.

And then share something fun with you…

Thanks to the generosity of a group of CV supporters, I was able to attend the Al Smith dinner in New York City. The President was there. Sen. Schumer, NFL owners, and many prominent New Yorkers also attended. I was honored to sit with Ambassador George Glass, Megyn Kelly, and other friends of CV.

The 79th annual dinner raised over $10 million for children in New York!

But you probably already know who wasn’t there: Kamala Harris.

Harris’ snub of the event has been all over the news. I will be on FOX & Friends tomorrow morning to talk about it. My take is simple: Catholics are getting the message.

Harris not only hates what we believe, she’s unwilling to even fake it like Joe Biden and others have in the past.

And she’s calculating she can win the presidency without winning the Catholic vote.

Psst: she can’t.

And we’re working overtime to make sure she loses.

While sitting at the dinner, I was thinking about what the Catholic Church means for America. Yes, this was a fancy dinner with lots of fancy people with money. But it's popular for a reason.

The dinner was named after former New York governor Al Smith who ran for President in 1928. He was a Catholic, and he lost in a landslide – because he was Catholic. Smith was born poor and dropped out of school at age 13 to support his family. But he was sharp, diligent, and a hard worker, and fought to earn four terms as governor of New York.

In 1924, Franklin Roosevelt referred to Al Smith as a “Happy Warrior” — and it stuck.

Smith lost in a landslide because of anti-Catholic bigotry in America. Mainstream media at the time questioned whether he could be trusted to not impose his faith. A U.S. Senator railed against Church leaders, while promoting ex-nuns who had “escaped” the rules of the Church.

Sound familiar?

No word on whether the dissident nuns in 1928 rode on a bus.

Smith cited the constitutional prohibition of a religious test for public office, and said he believed one could be a good Christian and a good American at the same time.

He was right.

But not everyone agrees today.

As Senator, Kamala Harris repeated history and accused a Catholic member of the Knights of Columbus of being disqualified for public office. She’s pushed for laws that would force our Catholic hospitals and charities to surrender their moral and ethical beliefs. She doesn’t believe in religious liberty for Catholics.

In fact, Kamala Harris believes Catholicism in America is a problem.

So what’s the answer?

Happy warriors.

Happy warriors like Al Smith – willing to stand up for our Faith.

Lots of them.
