section. It will
offer fresh,
quick reactions by myself to news and events of the day, day by day, in
this rapid-fire world of ours. Of course, as in military
campaigns,
a rapid response in one direction may occasionally have to be followed
by a "strategic withdrawal" in another direction. Charge that
to
"the fog of war", and to the necessary flexibility any mental or
military
campaign must maintain to be effective. But the mission will
always
be the same: common sense, based upon facts and "real politick",
supported
by a visceral sense of Justice and a commitment to be
pro-active.
That's all I promise.

As you may know, I am still in
active Medical Practice (Allergy and Chest Diseases)...my 61st
year in Southeastern Connecticut -
and counting.
1) RFK Jr. will have a much greater
effect on the Trump campaign than everyone is giving him
credit for - except for the
foolishness of his extended Kennedy Family.
2) Benjamin Netanyahu's place in the
History of Israel is now well-established, as documented
in a recent WSJ article by Russel
Mead.
3) Beware the United Nations.
4) Abortion. A Moral travesty...but
a political reality. Trump's insistence on individual State solutions
is the best he and we can hope for.
5) Long Covid: You don't want to be
one of the +- 5% of Covid patients who contract it - for years.
So: don't be Stupid...keep up with
your boosters.
6) Vice President nominee J.D.
Vance: more than meets the eye, as we will see in coming weeks.
7) Women's Sports, Title IX, and
Some More Stupidity. Did you see that "Olympic" boxing match??
8) Compare Drs. Fauci and Atlas,
preferably in their books. But keep it Clean.
9) Meanwhile, the Future of American
Health Care Delivery is declining sharply at all levels.
So: what can you do? STAY HEALTHY.
10) The Assassination attempt on
Donald Trump. Sorry - but we will have add this to the unsolved
crimes against John Kennedy, MLK and
Robert Kennedy. That is what happens when critical
bureaucracies of Federal Government
become Weaponized!
11) Regarding clearance for Organ
sequestration and transplant, "BRAIN DEATH" must include
Death of the Hypothalamus!
12) Here we go again: the PANDEMIC
OF STUPIDITY, especially among the most recent
generations, is producing a pandemic
of ROAD-KILL of human beings. Time for Swift and Stinging
Justice!
13) And what about the Black
Vote? Are you ready to break your Democratic shackles? Or haven't
you and your offspring been wounded
enough?

That was then. This is
now. So let's deal with the facts.
- The
Democratic Convention was filled with Hope, Love...and Diatribe.
- KH.
is "sympathico". Let's give here that. But "Where's The
Beef?" Her record in California representing The Law is a disaster.
As a Senator, did she do anything but push Abortion?What a SHAME for any
woman. And as Vice President, DID SHE DO ANYTHING?
- This
is now a brief "Seventh Inning Stretch". But now the hard part
for both KH and DT.
- Of
course, we must depend on THE MEDIA. But the so-called "mainstream
media are fully contaminated with half-truths, distortions and lies.
Conservative MEDIA are best represented by the evening (6-10 PM)
journalists of FOX NEWS, especially by Bret Baier. And the WSJ is a
special case, wherein "Business" has finally trumped a
years-long case of "Trump Derangement Syndrome". Here you might
start with the several in-depth articles appearing in the WSJ between
August 19 - 22. And you can review KH's Acceptance Speech of August 22 on
CTMirror, among other sources.
- The
Debates will be important, especially if Trump can stick to the Many
serious issues presented by the Biden / Harris years. The most effective
of those issues should be the Economy, both present and future. For the
implementation of the Harris proposals would, in my opinion, produce a
deep recession in 2025.
NOW FOR MY CRYSTAL
BALL.
Will there be a
Democratic Sweep of the Presidency and the Legislative Branches? NO.
Will it be KH and a
Republican sweep of the Legislative Branches? Probably, but very close.
Will it be DT and a
Democratic sweep of the Legislative Branches?
Possibly, but very
close.
Will there be a
Republican Sweep? NO.
HOW WILL OUR
NATION FARE IN THE COMING YEARS?
NOT WELL.
And we may even be
drawn in WW lll in our weakened and divided state.

HEREIN, A VERY CLEAR AND IMPORTANT

path to an actual Palestinian State in the foreseeable future.
But it can come only in small part
from the Israeli State - the Israel of the Bible - a land mass approximating

London and Stonington in width.
If the Region - and very likely the
World - are not to explode into WW lll (ie, The End), this will very likely
require a third COVENANT from and with GOD.

REGARDING THE COMING PRESIDENTIAL
AND CONGRESSIONAL ELECTIONS:
national events over the last eight
years have been so published and polarizing that most of us know now whom we
will vote for.
Unless, that is, the cast of
characters and their totally co-opted media outlets succeed in mesmerizing us
with charges, promises and dark predictions, the outcome of which will lead one
side or the other to deep despair or to dangerous over-reaction.
I propose another way.
1) Ration your time with news
outlets.
2) Pick the news outlet that you
trust most. (Good Luck with that).
3) Increase both your sleep hours
and your exercise hours.
4) Take the next 100 days to review
the very difficult origins and also the more recent history of America's
Founding and progress.
To this end, I offer several recent
excellent reading sources:
a) "The Revolutionary Samuel
Adams", by Stacy Schiff (Little, Brown and Company, 2022).
b) "The Founders Saw 2024
Coming". by Stacy Schiff (in NYTimes August 4, Opinion).
c) "Some Politicians Say
We're More Divided Than Ever - It Could Be Worse" (ibid).
d) "Nelson Rockefeller's
Dilemma", by Marsha Barrett (in WSJ, August 10-11, 2024, Books,
C7).
If you follow the above approach
between now and November 6-9, the one you supported WINS - you will say
"WOW" and then go to work.
If the one you supported LOSES - you
will say "Oh S**T and then go to work.
Now isn't that better than going
into a deep depression...or looking for your gun and a battlement to mount?

"PAST IS PROLOGUE"
"THOSE WHO DO NOT KNOW HISTORY
ARE CONDEMNED TO REPEAT IT".
These truisms were brought to mind
by an important article published recently in the WSJ"
"Nixon Shouldn't Have
Resigned", by Kenneth L. Khachigian (WSJ August 8, 2024, Opinion,
pA15).
A corollary of the above can
be expressed: "Human Nature Never Changes".
True...but its expression and
actions certainly depend on "Education, Training and
Experience".
And it is here where large elements
of the last two Generations have fallen,
leading to an unfortunate but
accurate and broad application of the descriptive "STUPID".
Look up the word in a good
dictionary. Very appropriate for masses of today's younger people:
raised by parents (or more commonly
"parent") who themselves had been traumatized by events of
the 1960's and 1970's; by teaching
serfs controlled by their masters in the Teachers Unions;
by drugs - both chemical and
technological (ie. "social media" and I-phone addiction);
and by universities that gave up
their mission of Learning in favor of Indoctrination.
The Results?
The Nation and the World that we
have today: unpredictable; immoral; aggravated; tending to violence.
Apart from "Tincture of
Time" and Experience, all we in America can do to protect ourselves and to
help the
world will be to express our
unequivocal choices for Common Sense and for a Sense of History in November.
Sound too Dramatic? As a careful
observer and active participant in this world since 1933...
I KID YOU NOT.

This isn't over ... yet
Fellow Patriot,
I feel like our culture has forgotten—or ignored—some very important
and basic lessons when it comes to the development of human life.
Our society has been infected by an anti-life ideology, treating its
most vulnerable members as disposable objects. Abortion that was once
thought of as a last resort in a medical emergency has become the new

Medicine tells us that life begins at the moment of conception. It also
tells us when an unborn baby develops a heartbeat, brainwaves, and
nervous system. Yet, despite all of this, the unborn are not treated as

As a surgeon, I have operated on infants pre-birth. I can assure you that they are very much alive.
Life is a precious gift that has been given to us from our creator. No
person is disposable, and every life is precious according to Him.
I believe that everyone deserves life, even those who have been denied
this right by our society. I believe that together we can make a
difference and bring dignity and a voice to the unborn. I also believe
that I'm not alone in this belief.
I believe that you believe that too.
