quick reactions by myself to news and events of the day, day by day, in
this rapid-fire world of ours. Of course, as in military
campaigns,
a rapid response in one direction may occasionally have to be followed
by a "strategic withdrawal" in another direction. Charge that
to
"the fog of war", and to the necessary flexibility any mental or
military
campaign must maintain to be effective. But the mission will
always
be the same: common sense, based upon facts and "real politick",
supported
by a visceral sense of Justice and a commitment to be
pro-active.
That's all I promise.

ONE WEEK BEFORE THE ETERNAL HOPE OF
CHRISTMAS AND TWO WEEKS BEFORE THE ANNUAL CONCERNS OF A NEW YEAR,
we would do well to think about our
present and future, as individual citizens in still the greatest nation in the
world.
Given the State of the Union at this
time, that is a position not at all guaranteed to us as we enter a dangerous
2023 very poorly led as a nation.
- a
President paradoxically hobbled politically by a half-century in
Washington;
- a
President who by appearance and by actions probably has Parkinson's
Syndrome, both physical and mental and progressive;
- a
President who thus may not be able to complete his term in office, with no
credible substitute;
- a
Know-Nothing Leftist cabal that has seized power and influence totally by
strength of decibels, threats and Cancel-Culture;
- a
Congress, Senate and House, much too populated with members who seek or
who have alreadyi achieved a lifetime of membership;
- a U.S.
Supreme Court - and even a U.S. Constitution - under real threat of
radical change;
- America's
most powerful arms of Government - CIA, FBI, Department of Justice, IRS,
and even the Military - being compromised by crass political
considerations;
- resulting
irresponsible national policies being implemented, with effects to hobble
the nation for decades to come: profligate spending; uncontrolled
immigration, ...;
- a
studied blind eye to the studied disruption of our national voting
siystems - this the most dangerous threat to the very integrity of our
democracy.
This is certainly not the first time
that America has been threatened at its core. The worst, most recent and
continuing injury was the VietNam War.
Before that was the world that
President Dwight Eisenhower left to an unprepared President John Kennedy in
1960, as described in Eisenhower's Farewell Address to the nation on January
17, 1961. (See: "Three Days In January", by Bret
Baier, (Harper Collins, 2017).
But this is also a time when our
younger generations are Unprepared, by upbringing, education, psychologic
immaturity and amorality, to understand - let alone lead - us through the
challenges facing America.
So I end this offering as I began
it: with THE ETERNAL HOPE OF CHRISTMAS.

SECOND PANDEMIC AFFLICTING THE YOUNGEST TWO GENERATIONS OUT THERE: A
PANDEMIC OF STUPIDITY.
Among the massive amounts of
evidence that i could offer for this statement, two recent published articles
will suffice...IF YOU READ THEM IN TOTO.
1) "TRUMP'S PASSING OF THE
TORCH", by Red Jahncke, (in The Day, December 15, 2022). This
author points out everything that needs to be considered by President Trump and
by his 70 million "deplorables" as we approach the election of 2024:
"TRUE, TRUE, AND RELATED".
2) "CT Lawsuit Against
Transgender Girls In Women's Sports Dismissed", by Dwyer et al,
(Connecticut Public Radio, December 16, 2022).
Here is a Federal Appeals
Court that does not have the courage and integrity to decide a vital question
of fairness and common sense ON THE MERITS...but which hides behind the porous
screen of "Moot" and "Standing". SHAME ON YOU.

IS IT POSSIBLE?
Can the Democratic Party, which has
allowed itself to be taken over by a cabal of leftists whose stock in trade is
to Lie, Cheat and Steal, be redirected to help a newly purposed Republican
Party to actually work to solve the nation's problems?
Toward this end, I offer several
articles directly on point.
We have limited time.
The last time external factors
"solved" our decade-long intractable problems was on December 7,
1941.
It's starting to look like that

REGARDING THE CATHOLIC CHURCH AND
ITS ROLE IN THE LIFE AND DIRECTION OF ALL HUIMANITY, WHATEVER ITS RELIGIOUS
INCLINATIONS.
As the reader will discern,
especially from my decades - long offerings in the "Catholic Church"
section of this web-site, I expect and even demand that the Catholic Church, in
its every day life and public actions, take a leadership position in
showing all of humanity the way back from its now century of "secular"
and actually godless ways.
Rather, the Clergy has shunned such
a pro-active approach - except to denounce such attempts like Vatican ll and
like the current efforts of the German Clergy to open discussion on Church
positions now clearly at variance with the understanding and the needs of the
majority of its Laity - the Body of the Church. And that majority has already
taken its action in leaving the Church - at least temporarily and pending the
receptive action of the Magisterium.
Please read the attached article and
also the National Catholic Register for a blow-by-blow description of the State
of the Catholic Church in this 21'st century.
In a word: NOT GOOD.
I pray that His Holiness Pope
Francis will expand and strengthen his apparent inclinations in these matters
to become transformative for the Church and for Humanity at large.

What Is over is Americans' ability
to rely on the First Amendment's Freedom of Speech - the most important
guarantor of our democracy and of
Freedom itself.
That is all the more true given the
corruption of very powerful Federal agencies including the FBI, the CIA and the
Department of Justice..It's all Fact and documented.
That is exactly what the Founding
Fathers were trying to protect against when.they drafted the Second Amendment.

BORN IN 1933, I BECAME A STUDENT OF
THE `1930'S AND THE 1940'S THROUGHOUT MY SCHOOL YEARS, AIDED BY ACTUAL PERSONAL
EXPERIENCES.
That led to my appreciation of FDR's
leadership in the 1930's (disagreeing with the first video presented here), and
marveling at his changed and highly effective leadership into and throughout
the Second World War (in agreement with the second video presented here).
Were it not for FDR, for Winston
Churchill...and especially for the tenacity of the Russian People in turning
Hitler back from their homeland at terrible cost long before D-Day, we would
all surely be speaking German now.

THERE IS NO WAY TO
"SUGAR-COAT" THIS.

by Jeffrey A. Tucker in the October 2022 edition if Imprimis entitled:
"THE ECONOMIC DISASTER OF THE PANDEMIC RESPONSE".
Structured resembling a medical
autopsy, this author does the same thing as does the pathologist: cutting
through skin, muscle and bone to study what really happened as the result of
the Lock-Down of the Pandemic.
And, as was the case in 19th century
Medical Science before the miracles of the 20th and 21th centuries, the autopsy
was the most important tool to promote man's understanding of himself in health
and in disease.
Given the state of the current
American Economic and also Political body-politic, we had better apply similar
tools to this very seriously ill patient before the need for an autopsy.
President Trump is quoted to have
said in April, 2020: "I'm not going to preside over the funeral of the
greatest country in the world".
If not, America must LEARN from the
lessons being provided by this still seriously ill patient.

REGARDING THE NEWLY DEFINED "FAUCI DERANGEMENT SYNDROME",
defined by me and first described in the Rapid Response offering of December 2, 2022 regarding the offering of Froma Harrop,
I offer now the following: "Fox Op-Ed: Dr. Rand Paul: "The Arrogance Of Anthony Fauci" (in Fox Op_Ed, , January 7, 2022).
However, both of these are retrospectives. And Dr. Paul, an ophthalmologist, certain knows that "Hindsight is 20-20."
For
a contemporaneous view of what was happening directly as decisions
regarding the Pandemic of Covid-19 were being made...with limited
knowledge and apparently increasing and unlimited attack rates, see my
Rapid Response offerings on my web-site dated through March and April,
2020 - and beyond.
That is the fair and proper analysis - for the ages.
Of course, there will be more Hindsight to come.

Why?
Because in both cases the Stupids
and the Cynicals and the Uninformed cannot acknowledge the actual
accomplishments achieved by these two men while in office.

squandering the good will and good wishes that the vast majority of Americans
have offered them at least since the Civil Rights Decade - and for many of us
for decades beforehand. That's where the Past comes in. Acceptance and
Respect and Assistance and Support are offered for family life and education
and morality and self-respect.
