this rapid-fire world of ours. Of course, as in military
campaigns,
a rapid response in one direction may occasionally have to be followed
by a "strategic withdrawal" in another direction. Charge that
to
"the fog of war", and to the necessary flexibility any mental or
military
campaign must maintain to be effective. But the mission will
always
be the same: common sense, based upon facts and "real politick",
supported
by a visceral sense of Justice and a commitment to be
pro-active.

IT WAS POPE JOHN PAUL, HIS POLISH COUNTRYMEN, PRESIDENT REAGAN'S UNWAVERING
"PEACE THROUGH STRENGTH",
and the cooperation of these two
giants that brought down the USSR. And, of course, we all PRAYED TO GOD!.
We need that approach again now.

For almost 70 years, the Soviet Union dominated much of Eurasia.
This inhuman ideology swept the world and held it hostage, leaving many hopeless.
Hopeless,
that is, until Pope John Paul returned to his home country Poland—then
under communist rule—, knelt, and kissed the Polish ground. That moment
was arguably the beginning of the end of the Soviet Union.
In
an official (state-enforced) atheistic country, it was surprising to
many to see over a third of Poland’s population gather to see Pope John
Paul’s arrival.
The
Pope rebuked the atheistic stance of the Soviet Union when he said "at
any longitude or latitude of geography, the exclusion of Christ from
the history of man is an act against man."
This was the start of a chain reaction, Patriot. Religion was the undoing of the Soviet Union.
Now, I’m concerned with spiritual leaders in the United States embracing new forms of socialism under Critical Theories.
That’s
why I created the Acton Institute. The Acton Institute is the only
organization dedicated to promoting a free and virtuous society
characterized by individual liberty and sustained by religious

Social Justice Failures of the Squad
The
Squad’s band of radical followers may hang onto every tweet or
Instagram post as if it's prophetic. However, when it comes to
advocating for the weak and speaking out against injustice, the Squad
members are hypocrites.
Just last year while Israel endured
thousands of Hamas rockets falling on civilian neighborhoods, AOC and
Rashida Talib introduced a House Resolution to block military
assistance to Israel. While AOC preached about injustices in Israel
from her penthouse apartment, families in Israel huddled together in
bomb shelters for hours on end.
Israel’s civilian population
depends on American financial support to fund the Iron Dome, Israel's
anti-missile technology. Although AOC and other members of the Squad
sought to withhold funds for this life-saving technology, Israel
persisted.
The Squad has made it clear they don’t value Israeli
lives. They undermine Israel’s safety at every turn. We need YOUR help
to STOP THE SQUAD.
If we are to secure Israel’s future, we must defeat them this November.

In
2010, I ran for the U.S. Senate because I believed in the American
Dream. I believed that any American could start a business out of their
basement or garage and end up employing thousands of people and
changing the world.
I
am the son of Cuban immigrants. My father was a bartender and my mother
was a maid. They sacrificed everything to come to this country so that
our family could live in freedom and have the opportunity to escape a
life of poverty and oppression. They worked day and night to give us
the opportunities not available to those under a socialist
government...they believed in the American Dream. And I learned at a
young age the importance of freedom, hard work, and opportunity.
But
the American Dream grows further and further out of reach every day.
Our country now has proud self proclaimed Socialists that want to ruin
the very things that make our country great. As long as I am in the
Senate, I will fight these far-Left liberals and their socialist
policies.
I will fight this because Socialism is about power.
It’s
about the ability to control people. If you control where people work,
if you control how much they make, if you control who owns what, then
you can control what they say. You can control who they can hire. You
can control what they can sell, what they can do, what hours they can
open. It’s about power. It’s about control. That’s what socialism has
always been about.
The
socialism that AOC and the Squad talk about is not possible without a
government that actually controls every aspect of your life. And that’s
why I don’t think these socialists are troubled by something like
inflation.
I
think they like the fact that inflation’s run amok and that prices are
high because that just means that they can come in with the argument
that, “You see, the market can’t provide for your needs, only a
government check can, only a government guarantee can.”
It
plays right into their hands, but look, socialism is not about
economics. It’s about power. It’s about control. That’s why people flee
it.
I’m
not afraid to say all of this, Fellow Conservative. But It’s also
exactly why Democrats are coming after me. I represent a story that
shows the American Dream is real, but under Democrat control, it's on
life support.
Millions
and millions of dollars will be spent this election cycle to try and
beat me because of my beliefs, but that doesn’t worry me. What worries
me is that we can’t take this race for granted. My opponent is a
far-Left progressive who votes with AOC and the Squad 94% of the time.
With her in the Senate, every aspect of your life will be one step
closer to being controlled by the government.
So, I will humbly ask for your endorsement to help me save this country from the Left and their dangerous agenda.
This is going to be our toughest fight yet, will you join me?

- Ukraine
and Putin. No one is ever ready for world
war; so that is out. But Putin should be told clearly that he will NEVER
get Ukraine, either by war or insurrection. If he continues this,
Ukraine will be a large festering wound in his underside for many years to
come - this guaranteed by the West and by the people of Ukraine.
- And
the West, meaning all practising
democracies on Earth, should guarantee the freedom of their own against
any and all despots - including by force of arms when necessary. Here,
read Taiwan now.
- There
is a recent article titled "Conservative Politicization Of The
Pandemic". If the data presented therein prove true, the
Republicans will have a problem in November.
- An
article produced by the American College of Physicians discusses
"better mental health care". This orphan of Health Care
certainly needs a change from the current pill-pushing - and pushing the
patient out the door asap.
- Daylight
Savings Time / Permanent Standard Time...and Health. I vote for
Permanent Standard Time.and Health.
- NEVER AGAIN
should critically ill patients be denied visitation and support from
family - whatever the circumstances. It's in-human and avoidable.
- Justice
Thomas: Conscience of the Court. Listen to him!
- CRIME
AND PUNISHMENT. The Justice System must deal with Law and Order,
with Actions and Consequences. The Health Care System must deal
with all Health, including Mental Health. DON'T BASTARDIZE BOTH
SYSTEMS.
- CLIMATE
CHANGE. Treatment approaches must be compatible with Life Now...or they
will never be accepted.
- ELECTION
INTEGRITY - AND REFORM WHERE FOUND NECESSARY. The survival of this
democratic nation depends on this. AND IT MUST NOT BE POLITICS!
- POLITICS,
YES - IN ELECTED GOVERNMENTAL BODIES. POLITICS NO - IN APPOINTED BODIES
INCLUDING THE ADMINISTRATIVE ARM OF GOVERNMENT. Bodies like the CIA and
the FBI -should never be suspected of political bias and corrupt actions -
as they have been in recent years. CORROSIVE TO DEMOCRACY!
One area which I have been studying
for some time, but for which I am yet not ready to opine, is Sexual
Transgenderism, LGBTQ and related issues. Stay tuned.

of all comes an article that is a MUST READ: "The World That Putin
Has Made", by Richard Fontaine (in WSJ March 12-13, 2022, Review,
p1) Excellent and valuable in its entire content, it is especially
revealing in its direct quotations from the pronouncements of Putin and Xi
after their recent conference. No equivocation here as to their combined
intent vis a vis the entire world. President Reagan, where are you when
we need you?
- And in
times of real news and crises, no source is better than the WSJ in its
daily commentaries. In return for this, we can forgive those journalists
for their nearly daily self-administered dose of cathartic as they purge
themselves of "Trump Derangement Syndrome.
- Meanwhile,
we see the continued failures of the *Biden administration throughout the
world: Russia; Iran; China; North Korea; our national border; the drug
explosion...Here, the recent article by Cal Thomas places a fine point on
all of this: "What Is America's Foreign Policy?"in The
Day March 8, 2020).
- Atop
all of this, we learn that the current "Woke" generation is not
only Stupid and Self-absorbed...but it is also COWARDLY. See: "Home
Of The Brave, RIP", by Matthew Hennessey (in WSJ March 11, 2022,
Opinion, pA19). "Most Democrats say they would run if the U.S.
were invaded"

The time is long past when parents

Parents must be the informed Teachers at least until adulthood. So far as
today's teachers are concerned; "TRUST BUT VERIFY". Unfortunately,
the teaching profession has earned that opprobrium, by omission and by
commission, during the last 40 years.

assume they are taught the same lessons we learned growing up—that

and most vulnerable. We cannot let this happen!
At the start of

THESE LAST AND CURRENT FEW WEEKS
WILL BE SEEN AS A CRITICAL TIME IN WORLD HISTORY.
Meanwhile, "Those who don't
know the Past are condemned to repeat it".
Born in 1933, I have seen a lot of
History...a lot of it involving the Russian people and their despotic leaders
regularly playing a dangerous role with regard to world peace.
Here are some conclusory
observations that help me to understand current events.
- Russians
are as a people as good or as bad as the rest of us human beings, capable
of the greatest good and the greatest evil.
- But
Russians are not "Westerners", with an intrinsic belief in the
rights of the Individual. Despite their appearance, they are Orientals - a
people who emphasize the Community - the leadership however defined - over
individual rights. That is a fundamental difference coloring any
interactions between the two groups.
- V.
Putin is a Russian, a product of the USSR and a despot at heart and in
action. He saw the fall of the USSR as a great disaster and a personal
affront to him personally, even before grasping power over the Russian
people.
- Putin
is motivated by at least a desire to be relevant in the world - something
he has had difficulty achieving at times despite his sporadic efforts to
inject himself and his power into distant and unnecessary world
issues.
- But
his main plan has been to recapture the glory of the Russian past as he
sees it. He saw his chance in the feckless actions and inactions of his
main challenge - America.and its new President. He did not dare take such
action against President Trump.
- But
his action against Ukraine is not going well: not militarily, not
economically, not with the other nations of the world. In fact, he has
achieved what they could not achieve by themselves: Unity of Purpose and
Action, against such a flagrant attack on a sovereign nation and people -
and against the prospect of that happening AGAIN to themselves.
- So
Putin is now getting Desperate...and that is Dangerous, to the Russians
and to the world.
- His
war is not going well...and the Ukrainians have demonstrated that they are
Not Orientals and that they will fight to the death for their
Independence. This will continue and will continue constantly even if they
are over-run now. Over-run, but never defeated. See: "The Two
Blunders That Caused The Ukraine War", - an interview with Robert
Service (in WSJ March 5-6, 2022, Opinion, pA13).
- At
this point, Putin's Oligarchs must be thinking dark thoughts. The Russian
people have been there for a long time, however suppressed. The West is
united, with even Germany in the fold. China must be questioning the
extent of its alliance with Putin, considering its own economic and
military desires. Even Premier Abe of Japan is floating a desire to
become a nuclear power.
- This
is when it gets dangerous. As I wrote in this section days before the invasion
of UIkraine, I suggested that Putin be given a NATO promise that Ukraine
would Not be allowed to join NATO - a vital point for him. Beyond that, he
cannot be allowed to threaten the rest of the world with Nuclear War or
Cyber-War on national electric grids, Death from Space...That would mean
all-out War, while the West could still make War and Win.
PLEASE REVIEW SEVERAL VERY GOOD
ARTICLES IN THE WEEKEND EDITION OF WSJ (MARCH 5-6, 2020) ON THIS SUBJECT.
The above are not just my
observations or fevered brain. But I know who I am with reference to the
following:
"There are three kinds of
people: those who make things happen; those who watch things happen" and
those who constantly say 'Wha Hoppen".

MEANWHILE, BACK AT THE TRUMP
DERANGEMENT FACILITY,
the WSJ, itself a victim, decided to
publish a very extensive verbatim excerpt from Willilam Barr's pending book,
itself a departure from expected protocol of a trusted advisor.
The following quotation will give a
clear idea of Barr's myopic basis for his prompt rejection of President Trump's
claims about the 2020 election.
"The Data suggested to me that
the Democrats had taken advantage of rule changes - especially extended voting
periods and voting by mail - to marshal the turnout they needed in their
strongholds in key states. I had been a vocal critic of these rule changes
precisely because they would increase the opportunity for fraud and thus
undercut public confidence in the election results. There was also no question
that, in some areas, state rules meant to guard against fraud - for example,
the requirement that voters file applications for mail-in ballots - were not
followed. This also increased the opportunity for fraud. Still, the opportunity
for fraud isn't evidence of fraud."
Given the ample examples of states
refusing to conduct the necessary audits,"LACK OF EVIDENCE IS NOT EVIDENCE
OF LACK".
And so, TRUMP DERANGEMENT SYNDROME
CONTINUES TO AFFECT ITS VICTIMS...UNTIL "THE FAT LADY SINGS'.

GREAT EXPECTATIONS.
The 70 million people who voted for
Donald Trump in the last election, including Republicans and now more
Independents, now have Great Expectations for the 2022 election - especially
while witnessing the execrable performance of Biden and the Democrats.
But great expectations without more
can lead to great disappointment.
Republicans must have a clear vision
of who they are and what they stand for...and they must make that known clearly
to their newer constituents; The Great American Middle.
