"the fog of war", and to the necessary flexibility any mental or

campaign must maintain to be effective. But the mission will
always
be the same: common sense, based upon facts and "real politick",
supported
by a visceral sense of Justice and a commitment to be
pro-active.

In
the words of the Declaration of Independence, “We hold these truths to
be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed
by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are
Life, Liberty, and the pursuit of Happiness.”
Throughout most of our nation’s history, Americans learned about and revered these ideas.
Sadly, because of the Left’s hijacking of history education in so many of our schools, this is no longer true.
Consider the 2019 controversy surrounding the Betsy Ross flag I mentioned above.
When,
shortly before Independence Day, Nike announced its plans to release an
athletic shoe featuring the Betsy Ross flag, Nike spokesman Colin
Kaepernick objected, condemning the flag as a symbol of racism and
slavery. A social media storm followed.
Consequently, Nike announced that it was halting production of the shoe.
This controversy was trivial. But the episode points to something else…
What is NOT trivial is the attempt to spread anti-American ideology into every area of American life…
....and
the fact that too many in positions of authority immediately retreat
when confronted by political correctness and anti-Americanism.
The
Kaepernick episode illustrates the problem of progressive education,
which seeks to rewrite our nation’s history and undermine the kind of
informed patriotism that is essential to preserving liberty.
Instead of learning to love America, many students today learn to hate it.
The
Nike shoe controversy, like the frenzy for tearing down statues that we
witnessed in so many of America’s cities last summer, is the bitter
fruit of this progressive educational agenda.
We must confront this destructive ideology with the truth about American history.
And
we must nurture an informed patriotism among the young if our liberty
is to be preserved. As always, liberty’s only sure defense is an
educated citizenry prepared to defend it.

If
the current power grid can't handle a night of 20 degrees temperatures
without rolling blackouts, how are we going to plug 100 million
electric cars in at night?
Are there any countries that tax their citizens and send some of it to Americans?
Imagine, if you will, a world where every tweet and meme must be fact checked, but not a ballot.
How to stop drunk drivers from killing sober drivers? Ban sober drivers from driving. That's exactly how gun control works.
Can
we still order black coffee? Are brownies being taken off the shelf? Is
White Castle changing its name? I'm sure Cracker Barrel is screwed. Can
we still play Chinese checkers? Is that season still called Indian
summer? No more Italian sausages? How far do you want to go with this
foolishness?
Heck
of a job, Democrats! You've managed to bring back the 1918 pandemic,

EDUCATION: THE
TICKET OUT OF POVERTY FOR MANY GENERATIONS OF POOR IMMIGRANTS, BUT ONLY
HESITANTLY FOR OUR BLACK BRETHREN.
WHY IS THAT? GOOD QUESTION, WHICH I
HAVE BEEN TRYING TO STUDY FOR A LONG TIME.
I am Not an Educator. I am a
life-long student, especially of human behavior. And I know the importance of
Education in molding human behavior.
That's why I'm taking the time and
effort that follows.
First, a Reading List:
- "You
always have the poor with you". (Jesus: Matthew, 26:11).
- The
1996 Ct. Supreme Court establishment of Regional Magnet Schools as an
adjunct to the Public School System>
- The 90
page Holding by Judge Thomas Moukawsher following a 5 month trial in
Hartford Superior Court, as analyzed by J. R. Thomas in ctmirror, December

Legacy Of Debt: Connecticut Standing On Its Own Fiscal Cliff", by

Now, some conclusory observations
developed over decades:
- Schools
and school teachers should TEACH. They should Not be responsible for
poverty, for absent or negligent parents, for mental health problems, for
lax law enforcement, for English Language learning.... They should not
misconstrue Equity (ie equality of results) with Equality of Opportunity -
the former impossible of achievement and the latter obligatory. Other
formal and informal facilities should be charged - and financed - to deal
with non-education challenges.
- Teachers
should seek diversity of races and resources - but not diversity of
Ability which requires diversity of methods and goals.
"Mainstreaming"...NO.
- In the
Feudal System called Public Education, with its noblemen (Principals) and
serfs (classroom teachers), teachers should demand more rights and power
on behalf of their students vs. the political / economic concerns of the
Administration.
- Likewise,
classroom teachers have sold their souls to the monopolistic Teachers
Unions whose main emphasis on the bottom line for themselves and their
members has resulted in their total opposition to competition and
accountability outside of the Public system. The result over 40 years:
students graduating high school who should not have graduated grammar
school.
- A
political society that recognizes and appreciates the value and need for
these principles would be willing and able to pay for them through
mechanisms suited to families of differing means: income tax for the
affluent, appropriate property taxes for the indigent - who would be
required to Work for any government assistance.
- But
that is not the State of Connecticut, which ranks in the higher 40's of
all onerous State Government criteria in this country.
- And
the people most adversely affected by the above state of affairs, the
Black Community, continues to support the creators of that system and
outcome: the Democratic Party. MADNESS!

February 16, 2022, Opinion pA17). Will they Wake Up? Only if they
have Common Sense and some regard for their children.

WHATEVER THE ORIGIN, THIS RINGS TRUE.

Camels
The
founder of Dubai, Sheik Rashid, was asked about the future of his
country, and he replied, "My grandfather rode a camel, my father rode a
camel, I ride a Mercedes, my son rides a Land Rover, and my
grandson is going to ride a Land Rover but my great-grandson is going
to have to ride a camel again.
Why is that, he was asked?
And
his reply was, Hard times create strong men, strong men create easy
times. Easy times create weak men, weak men create difficult times.
Many will not understand it, but you have to raise warriors, not
parasites." And add to that the historical reality that all great
empires...the Persians, the Trojans, the Egyptians,the Greeks,
the Romans, and in later years, the British...all rose and perished
within 240 years. They were not conquered by external enemies; they
rotted from within. America has now passed that 240 year mark, and the
rot is starting to be visible and is accelerating. We are past the
Mercedes and Land Rover Years the camels are on the horizon.The
greatest generation consisted of 18 year old kids storming the
beaches at Normandy. And now, two generations later, some 18-year-old
kids want to hide in safe rooms when they hear words that hurt their
feelings. They also want free stuff from the government because they
think they are entitled to it.
The "camels are on the horizon" for sure.

ONCE AGAIN, JUDGE ALAN DERSHOWITZ IS
RIGHT.
And, given the destructive changes
that have taken place in the field of "Journalism", a review by the
USSC - including the issue of "Malice" - might save that part of
Amendment 1 of the Bill Of Rights.

"WHAT WOULD I
DO?"
That is the question I
have asked myself many times since my early years when I began to follow
important public stories and controversies and challenges.
What would I do if i
were the decision-maker? This little exercise has worked well for me in my
maturation and education and training.
Ukraine matters
because it is home to 40 million people who have decided to live in a
democracy, with whatever Freedom that entails.
After having fought
two world wars and a Cold War to guarantee that Freedom for our fellow world
citizens who seek and achieve it for themselves - at Great Cost to them
and to the rest of us, I am prepared to Fight for the Freedom of Ukraine and of
Taiwan. And the fate of both of those democracies are intertwined.
That's what Great
Britain and France did when Poland was invaded by the Nazis in 1939 - and it
was the Right Thing to do.
Thus, I would
guarantee to Putin that Ukraine would Not be allowed to join NATO at any time
in the future - and that any attempted Russian take-over of that democratic
nation would be countered with the immediate and full military and economic
power of the EU and of the West: ie. WW lll. That would also be true of
Taiwan.
Will that happen? No,
because our European Democracies still remember the last century. What they
don't remember is Lessons Learned from the tyrants and despots who are and
always will be with us. And we will have a short Cold War followed by the
inevitable after we are in a weakened state. And The West Will Then Lose.

2nd place in Europe in terms of mercury ore reserves;
3rd place in Europe (13th place in the world) in shale gas
reserves (22 trillion cubic meters)

Ukraine can meet the food needs of 600 million people.

Europe's 2nd’s and the world’s 4th largest natural gas pipeline
system;
3rd largest in Europe and 8th largest in the world in terms of
installed capacity of nuclear power plants;
3rd place in Europe and 11th in the world in terms of rail
network length (21,700 km);
3rd place in the world (after the U.S. and France) in production
of locators and locating equipment;
3rd largest iron exporter in the world
4th largest exporter of turbines for nuclear power plants in the
world;
4th world's largest manufacturer of rocket launchers;
4th place in the world in clay exports
4th place in the world in titanium exports
8th place in the world in exports of ores and concentrates;
9th place in the world in exports of defence industry products;
10th largest steel producer in the world (32.4 million tons).
Ukraine matters. That
is why its independence is important to the rest of the world.

- LAW

- It has
always been true: "There are more insane people in the streets than
in the asylums". And never more true than after Ted Kennedy closed
the asylums without providing promised support for the mentally ill in
the late 1960's. Stupid and Cyinical!
- New
York City Mayor Eric Adams: public servant or just another politico? GUNS
DON'T KILL PEOPLE...PEOPLE KILL PEOPLE. That is your challenge, if you
choose to accept it.
- The
arrogant and all-powerful Tech Giants NEED A LEGISLATIVE HAIR-CUT!

- The
Republican Party: Whither...or Wither!

transformed the Republican Party for the better - a fact for which he
gained the enmity of the RINO's, the Establishment, the monied class and

- The 1930's
had its Great Depression. The 1940's had its WW ll. The 1950-1980's had
the Korean War, Cold War and MAD. The 1960's had Viet Nam and the drug use
explosion. The1970's had Nixon and Stagflation and 17% home equity loans
and Jimmy Carter. The 1980'a had a needed respite from all the "Sturm
Und Drang" of previous decades with a strong President Reagan at
the helm, Since 1990 we have had a stream of national challenges - and
questionable leadership. But since the Obama era the nation has been
increasingly divided - in large part related to a couple of generations of
citizens populated by civic illiteracy, selfishness, immaturity into their
30's and irresponsibility. Now the nation is really divided. And that
situation is a GREATER RISK TO AMERICA than all of the challenges of the
prior generations ever were.
- The
COVID-19 PANDEMIC IS NOT OVER, whether in its main initial
manifestations or in the miseries of "Long COVID", affecting
over 30% of its victims for many months after the initial illness. The

AMERICA'S GORDIAN KNOT.
"From the White House to
Capitol Hill, from the diplomatic corps to the national security establishment
to the executive suites of Wall Street and Silicon Valley, American elites have
sold the rope that will hang us to Beijing."
Thus begins the final chapter of
Peter Schweizer's 2022 exposition entitled "RED HANDED; How American
Elites Get Rich Helping China Win", after having presented
reams of evidence indicting "The Bidens, Capitol Hill, Silicon Valley,
Wall Street, Diplomats, The Bush and Trudeau Dynasties, Higher
Education".
That final chapter, entitled "Fighting
Back", is a wish list of approaches that might be used to extricate us
from this morass.
In my opinion, the only action that
will work is that reportedly taken by Alexander the Great when confronted with
the Gordian Knot: a sword slash with one mighty blow: declare China the
adversary and developing enemy that it is and legislate all future American
private business activities as treasonous.
We can do this before - or after -
we end up in a shooting war with those two Oriental powers: China and
Russia.

We must Impeach Biden
Every
day that goes by is another day that Joe Biden is taking orders from
the Jihad Squad and kowtowing to China. His actions are destroying our
nation and pushing us closer and closer to full-tilt socialism.
I
wish this was just hyperbole, but it’s our unfortunate reality, and
that’s why I’m continuing my efforts to impeach Joe Biden this year.
Just look at what he’s done to our great nation in the last 12 months:
• Caused everything from gas, food, clothes, and anything else you buy to exponentially increase in price.
• Encouraged a national crime wave
• Pushed for more mandates
• Empowered Dr. Anthony Fauci to continue perpetuating lies and hysteria
• Implemented woke military policies that have servicemembers being taught CRT instead of combat-readiness,
• Botched the Afghan withdrawal
•
Allowed our nation’s border to be overrun by 2,000,000 illegals and now
Homeland Security cannot account for at least 50,000 of them
• Failed to hold China accountable, and
• Now he’s pushing us into a war with Russia.
Worst of all, if you question him, he’ll call you a “stupid son of a bitch!”
Does that sound like the man we want in the White House?
Everything
Biden does is intended to appease the radical left and hide his racist
past, so he accuses conservatives of being a “racist” in hopes of
bullying us into supporting legislation
As kids often say, “it takes one to know one.”
Biden
is so deranged that he refuses to demand we use voter ID laws when
voting, but he’s already questioning the results of the 2022
Election—10 months in advance.
If you love this
nation as much as I do, then I’m sure I don’t have to convince you of
the importance of impeaching Joe Biden. Unfortunately, the media is
still covering up his mistakes and malfeasance.
He’s being
protected so much by the media that he even gave a speech recently
where he touted his “accomplishments” but then blamed Republicans for
not allowing him to do more.
On what planet does he think
rising crime rates, milk prices, gas prices and failing to stop a
border invasion would qualify as accomplishments?
We must impeach and remove Biden now before he does MORE damage to our country with his “accomplishments.”
We
must hold Biden accountable for his crimes against our nation and

Now that he’s
got the opportunity to fill a seat on the Supreme Court, he’ll only
select someone whom AOC and the Jihad Squad endorse based on the color
of their skin, not the content of their character.
He
continues to turn a blind eye when his son Hunter uses the White House
to enrich himself from selling artwork—something the Biden White House
has flagged as a major method of international money laundering.
Joe
Biden has made America a more corrupt, more expensive, and dangerous
place to live, work and pray. The American people are ready for a
change, but corrupt Joe Biden won’t go away without putting up one heck
of a fight.
We need to be prepared.

before Biden and his criminal family continue to ENRICH themselves
while America is destroyed by radical socialist policies and our
children’s future is sold to the communist Chinese government.
Corruption
is nothing new to Joe Biden and neither is breaking the rules to get
his way. His actions are so dangerous to the future of our great
