4. Legal gun owners have 300 million guns and probably a trillion rounds of ammo. Seriously, folks, if we were the problem, you'd know it.
5. When JFK was killed, nobody blamed the rifle.
6. The NRA (National Rifle Association) murders 0 people and receives ($$$$ 0) nothing in government funds. Planned Parenthood kills 350,000 babies every year and receives $500,000,000 in tax dollars annually.
7. I have no problem with vigorous background checks when it comes to firearms. While we're at it, let's do the same when it comes to immigration, Voter I.D., and candidates running for office.
8. Folks keep talking about another Civil War. One side knows how to shoot and probably has a trillion rounds. The other side has crying closets and is confused about which bathroom to use. Now tell me, how do you think that would end?

Consequently, Nike announced that it was halting production of the shoe.
 
This controversy was trivial. But the episode points to something else…
 
What is NOT trivial is the attempt to spread anti-American ideology into every area of American life…
 
....and the fact that too many in positions of authority immediately retreat when confronted by political correctness and anti-Americanism.
 
The Kaepernick episode illustrates the problem of progressive education, which seeks to rewrite our nation’s history and undermine the kind of informed patriotism that is essential to preserving liberty.
 
Instead of learning to love America, many students today learn to hate it.

2. You're really tired, upset and frustrated.
  
3. Suddenly you start experiencing severe pain in your chest that starts to drag out into your arm and up into your jaw.     You are only about five km from the hospital nearest your home.
  
4. Unfortunately you don't know if you'll be able to make it that far.
  
5. You have been trained in CPR, but the guy that taught the course did not tell you how to perform it on yourself.
  
6. HOW TO SURVIVE A HEART ATTACK WHEN  ALONE?
  
Since many people are alone when they suffer a heart attack without help, the person whose heart is beating  improperly and who begins to feel faint, has only about 10 seconds left before losing consciousness.
  
7. However, these victims can help themselves by coughing repeatedly and very vigorously.
  
A deep breath should be taken before each cough, and the cough must be deep and prolonged, as when producing sputum from deep inside the chest.
  
A breath and a cough must be repeated about every two seconds without let-up until help arrives, or until the heart is felt to be beating normally again.

8. Deep breaths get oxygen into the lungs and  coughing movements squeeze the heart and keep the blood  circulating. The squeezing pressure on the heart also helps it to regain a normal rhythm.
  
In this way, heart attack victims can get help or to a hospital.
  
9. Tell as many other people as possible about this. It could save their lives!
  
10. A cardiologist says: "If everyone who gets  this email & kindly sends it to 10 people, you can bet that we'll save at least one life.

Darn, I'm older than dirt!!

Someone asked the other day......What was your favourite fast food when you were growing up?  We didn’t have fast food when I was growing up I informed him. C’mon seriously
All the food was slow .' 
Where did you eat?'  
'It was a place called 'home,' I explained!
'Mom cooked every day and when Dad got home from work,we sat down together at the dining room table, & if I didn't like what she put on my plate, I was allowed to sit there until I did like it .'  

By this time, the kid was laughing so hard I was afraid he was going to suffer serious internal damage, so I didn't tell him the part about how I had to have permission to leave the table.
Here are some other things I would have told him about my childhood if I figured his system could have handled it:
Some parents NEVER owned their own house, wore Levis, set foot on a golf course, traveled out of the country or had a credit card.
My parents never drove me to school. I had a bicycle that weighed probably 50 pounds, and only had one speed, (slow) .
We didn't have a television in our house until I was 13. It was, of course, black and white, and the station went off the air at 11, after playing the national anthem and a poem about God. It came back on the air at about 6 a.m. And there was usually a locally produced news and farm show on, featuring local people ...  

I never had a telephone in my room. The only phone was on a party line. Before you could dial, you had to listen and make sure some people you didn't know weren't already using the line.
Pizzas were not delivered to our home... But milk was & so was bread .
All newspapers were delivered by boys and all boys delivered newspapers   -- my brother delivered a newspaper, six days a week. He had to get up at 5 AM every morning .
Movie stars kissed with their mouths shut. At least, they did in the movies! There were no movie ratings because all movies were responsibly produced for everyone to enjoy viewing, without profanity or violence or most anything offensive .  

If you grew up in a generation before there was fast food, you may want to share some of these memories with your children or grandchildren. Just don't blame me if they bust their gut laughing.

I knew it as the bottle that sat on the end of the ironing board to 'sprinkle' clothes with because we didn't have steam irons. Man, I am old .

No Chief Justice, NO Impeachment

Today is Day 3 of the radical Left’s unconstitutional impeachment trial of a former President – a PRIVATE CITIZEN.
