FINALLY SOME ENCOURAGING NEWS ON THE FIGHT AGAINST COVID 19
A professor of pharmacy at U of Toronto sent this clearly worded update to his family.
For
this pandemic there's a greater chance of survival for those getting
infected 3 months later, like June 2020, than those who got infected 3
months earlier, say February 2020. The reason for this is that Doctors
and scientists know more about COVID-19 now than 3 months ago, and
hence are able to treat patients better. I will list *5 important
things* that we know now that we didn't know in February 2020 for your
understanding.
1.
COVID-19 was initially thought to cause deaths due to *pneumonia- a
lung infection*- and so Ventilators were thought to be the best way to
treat sick patients who couldn't breathe. *Now we are realizing that
the virus causes blood clots in the blood vessels of the lungs* and
other parts of the body; and this causes the reduced oxygenation. Now
we know that just providing oxygen by ventilators will not help, but we
have to prevent and dissolve the micro clots in the lungs. This is why
we are using drugs like *Aspirin and Heparin (blood thinners that
prevent clotting) as protocol in treatment regimens in June 2020.
2.
Previously patients used to drop dead on the road, or even before
reaching a hospital, due to reduced oxygen in their blood - OXYGEN
SATURATION. This was because of *HAPPY HYPOXIA*- where even though the
oxygen saturation was gradually reducing the COVID-19, patients did not
have symptoms until it became critically less, like sometimes even 70%.
**Normally we become breathless if oxygen saturation reduces below 90%.
**This breathlessness is not triggered in Covid patients, and so we
were getting the sick patients very late to the hospitals, in February
2020. Now, since knowing about happy hypoxia, we are monitoring oxygen
saturation of all covid patients *with a simple home use pulse oximeter
and getting them to hospital if their oxygen saturation drops to 93% or
less*. This gives more time for doctors to correct the oxygen
deficiency in the blood and a better survival chance in June 2020.

We did not have drugs to fight the corona virus in February 2020. We
were only treating the complications caused by it... hypoxia. Hence
most patients became severely infected. ```**Now we have 2 important
medicines: FAVIPIRAVIR & REMDESIVIR**``` These are ANTIVIRALS that
can kill the corona virus. By using these two medicines we can prevent
patients from becoming severely infected and therefore cure them BEFORE
THEY GO TO HYPOXIA. This knowledge we have in JUNE 2020... not in
February 2020.
4.
Many Covid-19 patients die not just because of the virus, but also due
the patient's own immune system responding In an exaggerated manner
called *CYTOKINE STORM*. This stormy strong immune response not only
kills the virus but also kills the patients. In February 2020, we
didn't know how to prevent it from happening. Now in June 2020, we know
that *easily available medicines called Steroids,* that doctors around
the world have been using for almost 80 years, *can be used to prevent
the cytokine storm in some patients*.

Now we also know that people with hypoxia became better just by making
them lie down on their belly - known as prone position. Apart from
this, a few days ago, Israeli scientists have discovered that a
chemical known as Alpha Defensin, produced by the patients White blood
cells, can cause the micro clots in blood vessels of the lungs; and
this could possibly be prevented by a drug called Colchicine, used over
many decades in the treatment of Gout. So now we know for sure that
patients have a better chance at surviving the COVID-19 infection, in
June 2020, than in February 2020, for sure. Going forward, there's
nothing to panic about Covid-19 - if we remember that a person who gets
infected later, has a better chance at survival, than one who got
infected early. Let's continue to follow precautions, wear masks and
practice social distancing.

producing a schism in a desperate effort to retain their high and

OLD VERSION

The grasshopper thinks the ant is a fool and laughs and dances and plays the summer away.
Come winter, the ant is warm and well fed.
The grasshopper has no food or shelter, so he dies out in the cold.
MORAL OF THE OLD STORY:

MODERN VERSION

America is stunned by the sharp contrast.
How can this be, that in a country of such wealth, this poor grasshopper

and everybody cries when they sing, 'It's Not Easy Being Green'
Occupy the Anthill stages
a demonstration in front of the ant's house where the news stations film the
Black Lives Matter group singing, We shall overcome.
Then Reverend Al Sharpton
has the group kneel down to pray for the grasshopper
while he damns the ants. He later appears on MSNBC to complain that rich people do not care.
Former President Obama condemns the ant
and blames
Donald Trump, President Bush 43, President Bush 41, President Reagan, Christopher Columbus, and the
Pope
for the grasshopper's
plight.
Nancy Pelosi & Chuck Schumer
exclaim in an interview on The View
that the ant has
gotten rich off the back of the
grasshopper,
and both call for an immediate tax hike on the ant to make him pay his fair share.
Finally, the EEOC drafts
the Economic Equity &
Anti-Grasshopper Act
retroactive to the beginning of
the summer.
The ant is fined for failing to hire a proportionate number
of green bugs and,
having; nothing left to pay his retroactive taxes, his home is confiscated by the
Government Green Czar, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and given to the grasshopper.
The story ends as we see the grasshopper
and his free-loading friends finishing up the last bits of the ant's food while the government house he is in,
which, as you recall, just happens to be the ant's old house,
crumbles around them because the grasshopper doesn't maintain it.
The ant has disappeared in the snow, never to be seen again.
The grasshopper is found dead in a drug related incident, and the house, now abandoned, is taken
over by a gang of spiders who terrorize the ramshackle, once prosperous and peaceful, neighborhood.
The entire Nation collapses
bringing the rest
of the free world with it.

THINGS TO WHICH I’D LIKE ANSWERS

Every
once in awhile I find myself reflecting on many of the things I see and
hear about going on in our country. I think back to the prescient words
of Abraham Lincoln, “a House Divided cannot stand” and it fills me with
a sense of anxiety and concern I have difficulty expressing in words.
Here are a few of those things I don’t really understand and would
welcome answers to:
1.
New York City voted to defund the police. These, along with
firefighters and EMT’s were the same people who ran into the burning
and collapsing Twin Towers to rescue people. Many of them perished on
that fateful day. Who will be willing to run into the flames of the
next attack or the next school shooting where the lives of our children
and teachers are at risk?
2.
The presumed Democratic candidate for President, Joe Biden has
committed himself to choose a “woman of color” for his running mate for
Vice President. Has it ever occurred to anyone that choosing a
candidate on the basis of skin color is racist?
3.
The United States Government whose military includes “Tomahawk Cruise
Missles” and “Apache”, “Blackhawk”, “Kiowa” and “Lakota” helicopters;
whose Seal Team used the code name ‘Geronimo” in the raid that killed
Osama bin Laden, and whose Navajo Code Talkers helped save thousands of
lives in combat operations in WWII against Japan, now officially
objects to the name of the Washington Redskins? How is this important
to our lives today and why is it an issue?
4.
I’m just wondering, but at a time when there is so much fear going on
in the world about the China Coronavirus, hate-filled rhetoric of
politicians in an election year, state and local governments
implementing unnecessary ultra-rigorous controls over its citizenry,
preventing businesses from doing business and citizens from going to
church, is this really the time to take God out of our lives?
5.
With so many Americans unemployed during this pandemic, why is it that
our elected representatives in Congress and the Senate, as well as
State Governors and City Mayors continue to receive full salaries and
benefits? These people, our elected officials, made the decision to
close down our economy and the jobs of millions of Americans. Why are
they not held to the same standards as we the people? Why don’t they
willingly forego their salaries until we defeat this assault on our
nation? Maybe if they were in the same boat with the rest of us, they
might be more inclined to work together developing and implementing
solutions to our problems instead of continuing to have these
schoolyard arguments and get nothing done?
6.
It seems to me, based on their actions to date, that Black Lives Matter
(BLM) is a well- funded terrorist organization dedicated to destroying
businesses, tearing down monuments and memorials and wreaking havoc on
American cities. So, I am all for PLM, abbreviated for Police Lives
Matter. They are committed to protecting our people and our businesses
and properties. Anyone with me?
7.
Tomorrow is my birthday. I turn 75. I believe that I am now playing
with house money. More importantly, I own an AR-15 and two pistols with
a boatload of ammunition. You see, I have reached the conclusion that
the older I get, the less life imprisonment is a deterrent for me and
so, when as and if the BLM crew and their acolytes start causing
problems for me and my neighbors, they had best be on good terms with
the Lord. I tend to fight like I’m the third gorilla trying to catch a
ride on Noahs Ark when it is starting to rain!

When I was in school, history was a serious subject and we were taught
about the American Revolution, the Civil War and slavery, WWII, the
growth of our nation from an agrarian society to the industrial society
and now, today, the informational society. We learned about American
Exceptionalism and the fact that America saved Europe from
totalitarianism twice in the twentieth century.
And,
in the aftermath of WWII, when the world was in complete turmoil,
America went about rebuilding 17 nations of Europe under the Marshall
Plan and the entire nation of Japan. I once visited Poland and the
infamous Auschwitz Prison Camp where hundreds of thousands of Jews,
Poles, Gypsies and Gays were tortured and murdered by the Nazis.
Someone asked our guide a question: “why hasn’t this place been
burned to the ground, there are such terrible memories here?” The
guide responded “that is exactly why. People must know what happened
here so that it never happens again.” That is why history and monuments
and memorials are so vitally important. History, whether good or bad,
needs to be remembered! You cannot erase history, you can only learn
from it.
9.
Is it a coincidence or a figment of my imagination that all of the
American cities with the most violence and destruction of businesses
and property are all run by Democrats?
10.
I hope everyone in America, Democrat, Republican or Independent
remembers how Kamala Harris tried to ruin Brett Kavanaugh’s life and
the lives of those in his family. She has an awful lot of explaining to
do.
11.
If Joe Biden knows how to fix the problems in America, how to solve the
racial divide and how to improve the economic well being of Americans,
why the hell didn’t he tell Obama when he was Vice President? He had
eight years to do it. Isn’t it curious that having spent almost
fifty years in government, he suddenly has all the answers? Oh, and by
the way, if we have “systemic racism” in America, why didn’t Joe Biden
tell Barack Hussein Obama, a black man, to address it and fix it?
12. Here are a few more questions I have:

Are we being quarantined until there are no more germs left in the
world or just until after the election?
·
Why is it OK to stand in line at Home Depot, Wal-Mart, and Costco, but
it suddenly is not safe to vote in person?
·
Can someone explain to me the rationale for the teachers union
objecting to teachers returning to work unless (1) police are defunded;
(2)There is Medicare for all; (3) all charter and private schools are
abolished and (4) 54% of all schools have their ventilation systems
improved. How does any of this justify having teachers not report to
work?
·
When I think of Martin Luther King I try to reflect on the times he led
riots in our city streets; burned down businesses; looted stores and
tore down statues. Then it dawned on me…MLK never did any of those
things. Yet, he changed the world! There must be a lesson in this,
don’t you agree?
13.
If the U.S. Flag is racist, why did it drape the coffin of Congressman
John Lewis? Equally, why did Nancy Pelosi deliver a folded flag to the
widow of George Floyd, a convicted criminal?
14.
Just saying, but what Coronavirus has taught me is that I can
survive without the professional athlete, but I don’t think we can
survive without the American soldier.
15.
Why did Nancy Pelosi say that it should not be a crime to come to the
United States illegally? Am I missing something?
16.
Under Obama the H1N1 Virus resulted in 60.8 million infections; there
was zero panic level and China was blamed. Fast forward to today, there
are 4.6 million cases of coronavirus reported; the panic level is one
of mass hysteria covered 24/7 by the news cycle and Trump is blamed!
Wonder why that is?

Many of our young men and women in college or just transitioning to the
workplace are of the opinion that socialism is good and, in fact, a
better economic system than capitalism. They have been taught this in
our colleges and universities but their professors must have been
absent on the days they were asked to enumerate those nations where
socialism has succeeded. Accepting socialism as an economic system is,
in essence, admitting you cannot compete in the real world. You are
essentially saying “I am willing to give up my liberty, my religion, my
dreams and my property as long as the State (government) commits to
taking care of me. Accepting socialism is tantamount to accepting
failure even before the challenge is raised. It is the complete
opposite of the principles upon which America came into being and which
so many have sacrificed their lives, their fortunes and their sacred
honor to create.

also includes medical personnel... physicians and scientists... who
cannot give up their long-held biases about the Inflammatory System,

giants must be made to contribute to the general social good as well as

So they are now doing two things:

they are working hard to produce an election that will be and will be

mail-in ballots nation-wide, no reliable means of eligible voter
identification...;
2) they are spinning a narrative accusing Trump of hoping and working for that precise result.

"TRUMP''S SCHISM WITH SCIENCE WIDENS".
WOW! ALSO BALONEY!
This
article appears in the August 6, 2020 edition of the Hartford Courant,
another left-falling newspaper which I do not read regularly.
There are two problems here.
1) There is no one
"Science". Especially in Medicine, there is Observational Science...and
there is laboratory /bench-work Science...especially since "Science"
has been monetized and is largely dependent upon Grants. Thus we must
evaluate and cross read - not just accept.
2) In a situation such
as produced by this Pandemic, with its great adverse effects on entire
nations, "Science" must accept its role as Advisor, and not as Command
/ Leader...a dichotomy well know and basic to the Military.
Here
is where President Trump must play his role as Leader. His laboratory
is the entire Nation. The variables he must consider are much greater
than those of the "scientist" of whichever ilk.
3) And then there
the subjects of all of this attention, who are beginning to feel like
guinea pigs...and who are beginning to revolt: no social distancing, no
masks, and in too many cases NO COMMON SENSE, NO SENSE OF PERSONAL
RESPONSIBILITY.
That is why the article referenced above
- and so many similar others produced by partisan politicians and by
partisan press are so Irresponsible.
The stakes, for each of us
and for the nation could not be higher in the next few months. We all

you dislike that he made cruelty to animals a FELONY? Do you dislike
that he signed a law ending the gag-order on pharmacists that prevented
them from sharing money-saving options on prescriptions? Do you dislike
that he signed the Save Our Seas Act which funds 10 million per year to
clean tons of plastic and garbage from the ocean? Do you dislike that
he signed a bill for airports to provide breast-feeding stations for
nursing moms? Do you dislike that he signed the biggest wilderness
protection and conservation bill in a decade designating 375,000 acres
as protected land? Do you dislike that he loves America and puts
Americans first? Do you dislike that he picked a gay man the ambassador
to Germany and then asked him to clean up national security and
declassified as much of it as possible for transparency?
Do
you dislike that he’s kept almost every campaign promise (with ZERO
support from Congress who work against him daily!) plus 100 more
promises because Washington was much more broken than he thought? Do
you dislike that he works for free, donating his salary to different
charities? Do you dislike that he’s done more for the black community
than every other President ? Do you dislike that he listened to senator
Scott and passed Invest In Opportunity Zones to help minorities but the
despicable Democrats oppose it because it doesn't fit THEIR agenda ? Do
you dislike that he passed prison reform, which gives people a second
chance and has made quite a huge difference for the black communities?
Do you dislike that he passed VA reforms to benefit the very people who
served our country and defend our freedom?
Do
you dislike that he’s winning and signing new trade deals that benefit
Americans, instead of costing us more? Do you dislike that he loves his
flag and his country? Do you dislike that he calls out and has shown
all of us that they ARE Fake News, and they twist the truth to control
and mislead the people and he is trying to protect us from this? Do you
dislike that he’s ending our wars and bringing home as many troops as
practical ? Do you dislike that he has made a commitment to end
child-trafficking and crimes against humanity and has made 1000’s of
arrests already? Do you dislike he’s brought home over 40 Americans
held captive, the last one from Iran? Do you dislike that he’s proven
he was right about the Deep State and he was spied on?
Do
you dislike that he was a Billionaire before he ran for President and
now is worth at least 1/3 less... because he loves America THAT MUCH?
Do you dislike that he’s making the world pay their fair share for the
UN for protection? Do you dislike that he respects cops, veterans, ICE
& First Responders? Do you dislike that he does not sell out
America to other countries, like the leaders prior to him have done?
Could it be possible that the ones who SELL OUT America to line their
pockets OWN THE MEDIA AND HOLLYWOOD and hate him so much for trying to
expose them and hate him for putting the PEOPLE first that they
manipulate our thinking and control the information we get to steer US
to hate him? These people benefit when you hate the man trying to stop
them... so they won’t have to give up the wealth they have accumulated
and continue to get thru mass taxation and control. Wouldn’t you at
least want to RESEARCH this possibility? Could 65,000,000 Americans
already know the TRUTH... that he has done more for blacks in the last
20 years than our last 5 Presidents put together and is actually NOT a
racist but you believe he is because it has been drilled into your head
and yet you’ve never researched his accomplishments? You can start by
watching those daily briefings he did during the lockdown (all on line)
and then watching the coverage on the Main Stream Media and how they
twisted it. Do you actually believe the President encouraged America to
inject bleach? Did you research the effects of UV LIGHT which is used
to disinfect SCHOOL BUSES and medical equipment and is also being used
as a treatment for bacteria and respiratory infections by injecting it
into humans (search Healight but don’t use Google... they are part of
the Mainstream Media and manipulate what we see! And they sell our
info, which is why you see merchandise pop up the day after you
searched for something! Use Duckduckgo)!!! They want you to believe he
is stupid because if you figure out that he isn’t, they will lose
billions of dollars and all their control. I know... it is hard to let
go of what you believed to be true for most of your life.
You
are not alone. But your blind hatred of this man who is literally
