America as the Last Man Standing

Dear friends,
Thank you very much for inviting me.

I come to America with a mission.  All is not well in the old world.  There is a tremendous danger looming, and it is very difficult to be optimistic.  We might be in the final stages of the Islamization of Europe.  This not only is a clear and present danger to the future of Europe itself, it is a threat to America and the sheer survival of the West.  The United States as the last bastion of Western civilization, facing an Islamic Europe.

First, I will describe the situation on the ground in Europe .  Then, I will say a few things about Islam.  To close I will tell you about a meeting in Jerusalem .

The Europe you know is changing.

You have probably seen the landmarks.  But in all of these cities, sometimes a few blocks away from your tourist destination, there is another world.  It is the world of the parallel society created by Muslim mass-migration.

All throughout Europe a new reality is rising: entire Muslim neighborhoods where very few indigenous people reside or are even seen.  And if they are, they might regret it.  This goes for the police as well.  It's the world of head scarves, where women walk around in figureless tents, with baby strollers and a group of children. Their husbands, or slaveholders if you prefer, walk three steps ahead. With mosques on many street corners.  The shops have signs you and I cannot read. You will be hard-pressed to find any economic activity. These are Muslim ghettos controlled by religious fanatics. These are Muslim neighborhoods, and they are mushrooming in every city across Europe . These are the building-blocks for territorial control of increasingly larger portions of Europe , street by street, neighborhood by neighborhood, city by city.

There are now thousands of mosques throughout Europe .  With larger congregations than there are in churches.  And in every European city there are plans to build super-mosques that will dwarf every church in the region.  Clearly, the signal is: we rule.

Many European cities are already one-quarter Muslim: just take Amsterdam , Marseille and Malmo in Sweden .  In many cities the majority of the under-18 population is Muslim.   Paris is now surrounded by a ring of Muslim neighborhoods. Mohammed is the most popular name among boys in many cities.

In some elementary schools in Amsterdam the farm can no longer be mentioned, because that would also mean mentioning the pig, and that would be an insult to Muslims.

Many state schools in Belgium and Denmark only serve halal food to all pupils.  In once-tolerant Amsterdam gays are beaten up almost exclusively by Muslims.  Non-Muslim women routinely hear 'whore, whore'.  Satellite dishes are not pointed to local TV stations, but to stations in the country of origin.

In France school teachers are advised to avoid authors deemed offensive to Muslims, including Voltaire and Diderot; the same is increasingly true of Darwin .  The history of the Holocaust can no longer be taught because of Muslim sensitivity.

In England sharia courts are now officially part of the British legal system. Many neighborhoods in France are no-go areas for women without head scarves.  Last week a man almost died after being beaten up by Muslims in Brussels , because he was drinking during the Ramadan.

Jews are fleeing France in record numbers, on the run for the worst wave of anti-Semitism since World War II.  French is now commonly spoken on the streets of Tel Aviv and Netanya , Israel ...  I could go on forever with stories like this. Stories about Islamization.

A total of fifty-four million Muslims now live.   San Diego University recently calculated that a staggering 25 percent of the population in Europe will be Muslim just 12 years from now..  Bernhard Lewis has predicted a Muslim majority by the end of this century.

Now these are just numbers.  And the numbers would not be threatening if the Muslim-immigrants had a strong desire to assimilate.  But there are few signs of that.  The Pew Research Center reported that half of French Muslims see their loyalty to Islam as greater than their loyalty to France ..  One-third of French Muslims do not object to suicide attacks.. The British Centre for Social Cohesion reported that one-third of British Muslim students are in favor of a worldwide caliphate. Muslims demand what they call 'respect'.  And this is how we give them respect.  We have Muslim official state holidays.

The Christian-Democratic attorney general is willing to accept sharia in the Netherlands if there is a Muslim majority.  We have cabinet members with passports from Morocco and Turkey .

Muslim demands are supported by unlawful behavior, ranging from petty crimes and random violence, for example against ambulance workers and bus drivers, to small-scale riots.   Paris has seen its uprising in the low-income suburbs, the banlieus.  I call the perpetrators 'settlers'.  Because that is what they are.  They do not come to integrate into our societies; they come to integrate our society into their Dar-al-Islam.  Therefore, they are settlers.

Much of this street violence I mentioned is directed exclusively against non-Muslims, forcing many native people to leave their neighborhoods, their cities, their countries.  Moreover, Muslims are now a swing vote not to be ignored.

The second thing you need to know is the importance of Mohammed the prophet.  His behavior is an example to all Muslims and cannot be criticized.  Now, if Mohammed had been a man of peace, let us say like Ghandi and Mother Theresa wrapped in one, there would be no problem.  But Mohammed was a warlord, a mass murderer, a pedophile, and had several marriages - at the same time.  Islamic tradition tells us how he fought in battles, how he had his enemies murdered and even had prisoners of war executed.  Mohammed himself slaughtered the Jewish tribe of Banu Qurayza.  If it is good for Islam, it is good.  If it is bad for Islam, it is bad.

Let no one fool you about Islam being a religion.  Sure, it has a god, and a here-after, and 72 virgins.  But in its essence Islam is a political ideology.  It is a system that lays down detailed rules for society and the life of every person.  Islam wants to dictate every aspect of life.  Islam means 'submission'.  Islam is not compatible with freedom and democracy, because what it strives for is sharia.  If you want to compare Islam to anything, compare it to communism or national-socialism, these are all totalitarian ideologies.

Now you know why Winston Churchill called Islam 'the most retrograde force in the world', and why he compared Mein Kampf to the Quran.  The public has wholeheartedly accepted the Palestinian narrative, and sees Israel as the aggressor.  I have lived in this country and visited it dozens of times.  I support Israel ..  First, because it is the Jewish homeland after two thousand years of exile up to and including Auschwitz; second because it is a democracy, and third because Israel is our first line of defense.

This tiny country is situated on the fault line of jihad, frustrating Islam's territorial advance.   Israel is facing the front lines of jihad, like Kashmir, Kosovo, the Philippines , Southern Thailand, Darfur in Sudan , Lebanon , and Aceh in Indonesia .   Israel is simply in the way.  The same way West-Berlin was during the Cold War.

The war against Israel is not a war against Israel .  It is a war against the West.  It is jihad.   Israel is simply receiving the blows that are meant for all of us.  If there would have been no Israel , Islamic imperialism would have found other venues to release its energy and its desire for conquest.  Thanks to Israeli parents who send their children to the army and lay awake at night, parents in Europe and America can sleep well and dream, unaware of the dangers looming.

Many in Europe argue in favor of abandoning Israel in order to address the grievances of our Muslim minorities.  But if Israel were, God forbid, to go down, it would not bring any solace to the West It would not mean our Muslim minorities would all of a sudden change their behavior, and accept our values.  On the contrary, the end of Israel would give enormous encouragement to the forces of Islam.  They would, and rightly so, see the demise of Israel as proof that the West is weak, and doomed.  The end of Israel would not mean the end of our problems with Islam, but only the beginning.  It would mean the start of the final battle for world domination.  If they can get Israel , they can get everything.  So-called journalists volunteer to label any and all critics of Islamization as a 'right-wing extremists' or 'racists'.  In my country, the Netherlands , 60 percent of the population now sees the mass immigration of Muslims as the number one policy mistake since World War II.  And another 60 percent sees Islam as the biggest threat.  Yet there is a greater danger than terrorist attacks, the scenario of America as the last man standing.  The lights may go out in Europe faster than you can imagine.  An Islamic Europe means a Europe without freedom and democracy, an economic wasteland, an intellectual nightmare, and a loss of military might for America - as its allies will turn into enemies, enemies with atomic bombs.  With an Islamic Europe, it would be up to America alone to preserve the heritage of Rome , Athens and Jerusalem ....

Dear friends, liberty is the most precious of gifts.  My generation never had to fight for this freedom, it was offered to us on a silver platter, by people who fought for it with their lives.  All throughout Europe , American cemeteries remind us of the young boys who never made it home, and whose memory we cherish.  My generation does not own this freedom; we are merely its custodians.  We can only hand over this hard won liberty to Europe 's children in the same state in which it was offered to us.  We cannot strike a deal with mullahs and imams.  Future generations would never forgive us.  We cannot squander our liberties.  We simply do not have the right to do so.

We have to take the necessary action now to stop this Islamic stupidity from destroying the free world that we know.

 INTERESTING HISTORY.  A GREAT HISTORY LESSON MOST OF US WERE NEVER TAUGHT IN SCHOOL
 
When Thomas Jefferson saw  there was no negotiating with Muslims,  he formed what is now the  Marines (sea going soldiers).  These Marines  were attached to U. S.  Merchant vessels. When the Muslims  attacked U.S. Merchant vessels they were repulsed by armed soldiers, but there is more.
 
The Marines followed the  Muslims back to their villages and  killed every man, woman,  and child in the village. It didn't take long for the  Muslims to leave U.S. Merchant vessels alone.
 
English and French  merchant vessels started  running up our flag when entering the Mediterranean to secure safe travel.
 
Why the Marine Hymn contains the verse, "To the Shores of Tripoli"   This is very interesting and a must  read piece of our history.  It points out where we may be heading.
 
Most Americans are unaware of  the fact that over two hundred years  ago the United States had declared war on Islam, and Thomas Jefferson led the charge.!
 
At the height of the 18th century, Muslim pirates  (the "Barbary Pirates") were the terror of  the Mediterranean and a large area of the North Atlantic.
 
 
They attacked every ship in  sight, and held the crews for exorbitant ransoms.  Those taken hostage were  subjected to barbaric treatment and  wrote heart-breaking letters home, begging their governments and families to pay whatever their Mohammedan captors demanded.
 
These extortionists of the high seas represented the North African Islamic nations of Tripoli,  Tunis, Morocco, and Algiers -  collectively referred to as  the Barbary Coast – and presented a  dangerous and unprovoked  threat to the new American Republic.
 
Before the Revolutionary War, U.S. merchant ships had been under  the protection of  Great Britain.   When the U.S. declared its  independence and entered into war, the ships of the United  States were protected by France.
 
However, once the war was won, America had to protect its own fleets.
 
Thus, the birth of the U.S. Navy.  Beginning in 1784, 17 years before he would  become president, Thomas  Jefferson became America 's Minister to France.   That same year, the U.S. Congress sought to appease its Muslim adversaries by following in the footsteps of European nations who paid bribes to the Barbary States rather than engaging them in war.
 
In July of 1785, Algerian pirates captured American  ships, and the Dye of Algiers demanded an unheard-of ransom of  $60,000.  It was a plain and simple case of extortion, and Thomas  Jefferson was vehemently opposed to any further  payments.  Instead, he proposed to Congress the formation of a coalition of allied nations who together could force the Islamic states into  peace.  A disinterested Congress decided to pay the ransom.
 
In 1786, Thomas  Jefferson and John Adams met with Tripoli 's ambassador to Great Britain to ask by what right his nation attacked American ships and enslaved American citizens, and why Muslims held so much hostility towards America, a nation with which they had no previous contacts.
 
The two future presidents reported that Ambassador Sidi Haji Abdul Rahman Adja had answered that Islam "was founded on the Laws of their Prophet, that it was written in their Quran that all nations who would not acknowledge their authority were sinners, that it was their right and duty to make war upon them wherever they could be  found, and to make slaves of all they could take as prisoners, and  that every Musselman  (Muslim) who should be slain in battle was sure to go to Paradise."
 
Despite this stunning  admission of premeditated violence on non-Muslim nations, as well as the objections of many notable American  leaders, including George Washington, who warned that caving in was both wrong and would only  further embolden the enemy, for the following fifteen years the American government paid the Muslims  millions of dollars for the safe passage of American ships or the return of American hostages.
 
The payments in ransom and tribute amounted to over 20 percent of the United States  government annual revenues in 1800. Jefferson was disgusted. Shortly after his being sworn in as the third President of the United States in 1801, the Pasha of Tripoli sent him a note demanding the immediate payment of $225,000 plus $25,000 a year for every year forthcoming.  That changed everything.
 
Jefferson let the Pasha know, in no uncertain terms, what he could do with his demand.  The Pasha responded by  cutting down the flagpole at the  American consulate and declared war on the United States.   Tunis, Morocco , and Algiers immediately followed suit.
 
Jefferson, until now, had been against America raising a naval force for anything  beyond coastal defense, but, having watched his nation be cowed by Islamic thuggery for long enough,  decided that it was finally time to meet force with force.
 
He dispatched a squadron of frigates to the Mediterranean and taught the Muslim nations of the Barbary Coast a lesson he hoped they would never forget.  Congress authorized Jefferson to empower U.S. ships to independent United States had both the will and the right to strike back, they quickly abandoned their allegiance to Tripoli.
 
The war with Tripoli lasted for four more years, and raged up again in 1815.  The bravery of the U.S. Marine Corps in these wars led to the line "to the shores of Tripoli" in the Marine Hymn, and they would forever  be known as "leathernecks"  for the leather collars of their uniforms, designed to prevent their heads from being cut off by the Muslim scimitars when boarding enemy ships.
 
Islam, and what its Barbary followers justified  doing in the name of their prophet and their god, disturbed Jefferson quite deeply.
 
America had a tradition of religious tolerance.  In fact Jefferson, himself, had co-authored the Virginia Statute for  Religious Freedom, but fundamentalist Islam was like no other religion the world had ever seen.  A religion based on  supremacy, whose holy book not only condoned but mandated violence against unbelievers, was unacceptable to him.
 
His greatest fear was that someday this brand of Islam would return and pose an even greater threat to the United States.
 
This should concern every  American.  That Muslims have brought about women-only classes and swimming times at taxpayer-funded universities and public pools; that Christians, Jews, and Hindus have been banned from serving on juries where Muslim defendants are being judged;  Piggy banks and Porky Pig tissue dispensers have been  banned from workplaces because they offend Islamist sensibilities; ice cream has been discontinued at certain Burger King locations because the  picture on the wrapper looks similar to the Arabic script for Allah;  public schools are pulling  pork from their menus; on and on and on and on..
 
It's death by a thousand cuts, or inch-by-inch as some refer to it, and most Americans have no idea that this battle is being waged every day across America.  By not fighting back, by allowing groups to obfuscate what  is really happening, and not insisting that the Islamists adapt to our culture, the United States is cutting its own throat with a  politically correct knife, and helping to  further the Islamists' agenda.

Even though a woman is abused she cannot obtain a divorce.

To prove rape, the woman must have (4) male witnesses.

Often after a woman has been raped, she is returned to her family and
the family must return the dowry. The family has the right to execute
her (an honor killing) to restore the honor of the family. Husbands
can beat their wives 'at will' and he does not have to say why he has
beaten her.

The husband is permitted to have (4 wives) and a temporary wife for an
hour (prostitute) at his discretion.

The Sharia Muslim law controls the private as well as the public life
of the woman.

In the Western World ( Canada, Australia, United States and Britain )
Muslim men are starting to demand Sharia Law so the wife cannot obtain
a divorce and he can have full and complete control of her. It is
amazing and alarming how many of our sisters and daughters attending
American, Canadian, Universities and British Universities are now
marrying Muslim men and submitting themselves and their children
unsuspectingly to the Sharia law.

By passing this on, enlightened Canadian, Australians, American and
British women may avoid becoming a slave under Sharia Law.

Ripping the West in Two.

Author and lecturer Nonie Darwish says the goal of radical Islamists
is to impose Sharia law on the world, ripping Western law and liberty
in two.

She recently authored the book, Cruel and Usual Punishment: The
Terrifying Global Implications of Islamic Law. Darwish was born in
Cairo and spent her childhood in Egypt and Gaza before immigrating to
America in 1978, when she was eight years old. Her father died while
leading covert attacks on Israel . He was a high-ranking Egyptian
military officer stationed with his family in Gaza ......

When he died, he was considered a "shahid," a martyr for jihad. His
posthumous status earned Nonie and her family an elevated position in
Muslim society..

But Darwish developed a skeptical eye at an early age. She questioned
her own Muslim culture and upbringing.. She converted to Christianity
after hearing a Christian preacher on television.

In her latest book, Darwish warns about creeping sharia law - what it
is, what it means, and how it is manifested in Islamic countries.

For the West, she says radical Islamists are working to impose sharia
on the world. If that happens, Western civilization will be destroyed.
Westerners generally assume all religions encourage a respect for the
dignity of each individual.. Islamic law (Sharia) teaches that
non-Muslims should be subjugated or killed in this world.

Peace and prosperity for one's children is not as important as
assuring that Islamic law rules everywhere in the Middle East and
eventually in the world.

While Westerners tend to think that all religions encourage some form
of the golden rule, Sharia teaches two systems of ethics - one for
Muslims and another for non-Muslims. Building on tribal practices of
the seventh century, Sharia encourages the side of humanity that wants
to take from and subjugate others..

While Westerners tend to think in terms of religious people developing
a personal understanding of and relationship with God, Sharia
advocates executing people who ask difficult questions that could be
interpreted as criticism

It's hard to imagine, that in this day and age, Islamic scholars agree
that those who criticize Islam or choose to stop being Muslim should
be executed. Sadly, while talk of an Islamic reformation is common and
even assumed by many in the West, such murmurings in the Middle East
are silenced through intimidation.

While Westerners are accustomed to an increase in religious tolerance
over time, Darwish explains how petro dollars are being used to grow
an extremely intolerant form of political Islam in her native Egypt
and elsewhere.

Germany, France, Australia, Sweden, the U.S. And Britain To elect the
heads of Government by themselves! Rest assured they will do so... You
can look at how they have taken over several towns in the USA ..

cities now totally controlled by Muslims)

I think everyone in Canada, Australia, Europe, the U.S. and Great
Britain Should be required to read this, but with the ACLU, there is
no way this will be widely publicized, unless each of us sends it on!

It is too bad that so many are disillusioned with life and
Christianity to accept Muslims as peaceful.. Some may be but they have
an army that is willing to shed blood in the name of Islam.. The
peaceful support the warriors with their finances and own kind of
patriotism to their religion. While Canada, Australia, the U.S.A. and
Britain are getting rid of Christianity from all public sites and
erasing God from the lives of children the Muslims are planning a
great jihad on North America, Australia and Britain ....

For some reason, people have difficulty structuring their arguments when arguing against supporting the currently proposed immigration revisions.  This lady made the argument pretty simple.  NOT printed in the Orange County Paper .....

My wife, Rosemary, wrote a wonderful letter to the editor of the OC Register which, of course, was not printed.  So, I decided to "print" it myself by sending it out on the Internet.  Pass it along if you feel so inclined.  Written in response to a series of letters to the editor in the Orange County Register:
 
Dear Editor:     
So many letter writers have based their arguments on how this land is made up of immigrants.  Ernie Lujan for one, suggests we should tear down the Statue of Liberty because the people now in question aren't being treated the same as those who passed
through Ellis Island and other ports of entry.
 
Maybe we should turn to our history books and point out to people like Mr. Lujan why today's American is not willing to accept this new kind of immigrant any longer.  Back in 1900 when there was a rush from all areas of Europe to come to the United States, people had to get off a ship and stand in a long line in New York and be documented.  Some would even get     
down on their hands and knees and kiss the ground.  They made a pledge to uphold the laws and support their new country in good and bad times.  They made learning English a primary rule in their new American households and some even changed their names to blend in with their new home.
 
They had waved good-bye to their birth place to give their children a new life and did everything in their power to help their children assimilate into one culture.  Nothing was handed to them. No free lunches, no welfare, no labor laws to protect them.  All they had were the skills and craftsmanship they had brought with them to trade for a future of prosperity.
 
Most of their children came of age when World War II broke out. My father fought alongside men whose parents had come straight over from Germany, Italy, France and Japan.  None of these 1st generation Americans ever gave any thought about what country their parents had come from.  They were Americans fighting Hitler, Mussolini and the Emperor of Japan.  They were defending the United States of America as one people.
 
When we liberated France, no one in those villages were looking for the French-American or the German-American or the Irish-American.  The people of France saw only Americans.  And we carried one flag that represented one country.  Not one of those immigrant sons would have thought about picking up another country's flag and waving it to represent who they were.  It would have been a disgrace to their parents who had sacrificed so much to be here.  These immigrants truly knew what it meant to be an American.  They stirred the melting pot into one red, white and blue bowl.
 
And here we are with a new kind of immigrant who wants the same rights and privileges.  Only they want to achieve it by playing with a different set of rules, one that includes the entitlement card and a guarantee of being faithful to their mother country.  I'm sorry, that's not what being an American is all about.  I believe that the immigrants who landed on Ellis Island in the early 1900's deserve better than that for all the toil, hard work and sacrifice in raising future generations to create a land that has become a beacon for those legally searching for a better life.  I think they would be appalled that they are being used as an example by those waving foreign country flags.
 
And for that suggestion about taking down the Statue of Liberty, it happens to mean a lot to the citizens who are voting on the immigration bill.  I wouldn't start talking about dismantling the United States just yet.

The only one who even comes close was Pat Tillman, who turned down a contract offer of $3.6 million over three years from the Arizona Cardinals to enlist in the US Army after Sept, 11, 2001 and serve as a Ranger in Afghanistan, where he died from tragic ‘friendly fire’ in 2004.   But rather than being lauded for his choice and his decision to put his country before his career, he was mocked and derided by many of his peers.
 
Ladies and Gentlemen, I submit to you that this is not the America today that it was seventy years ago.   And I, for one, am saddened.
 
My generation grew up watching, being entertained by and laughing with so many of these fine people, never really knowing what they contributed to the war effort.   Like millions of Americans during WWII, there was a job that needed doing they didn't question.  They just went and did what they could to help win it.  Those who came home returned to their normal life and carried on, obviously.   Very few ever saying what they did...or saw.
 
They took it as their "responsibility".  Their duty to our country, to protect & preserve our freedoms & way of life.  Not just for themselves, but for all future generations to come.  They DID THE JOB!

We do not allow online reader comments on ANY letters.  Our reasoning is that letter writers who are willing (and required) to attach their names to their letters should not have to be subjected to attacks from readers online who can (and usually do) remain anonymous. If you disagree with a letter to the editor, we feel the fair response is to write and submit your own letter to the editor. Newspapers that have allowed their letter writers to be criticized by anonymous commenters online have seen a drop off in letters. The Day, on the other hand, continues to get a healthy number of letters to the editor. So, for now, we are sticking with the policy.

I am no longer a resident of New London, but it is my hometown, some of my family remain there, and while I am neither a subscriber nor a regular reader of The Day I periodically receive articles, editorials, and letters to the Editor from my father. For these reasons I take an interest in New London however peripheral my distance in both time and miles makes it.

Since you included me in your reply on the following issue, here are my thoughts on it:

While your reasoning in barring anonymous replies to signed letters to your newspaper appears sound on the surface, it is a clear example of the notion of 'separate, but not even equal'.  Since your company is not a Government institution you are not legally held to the higher, just standard; still, the issue remains.

As you hopefully are aware (being in the business you are in), times have changed, Mr. Choiniere, as has the technology with which the media and the Public share their facts and opinions.  Of course, since you are the gatekeeper for your particular part of the media, your stated policy is yours to control.  This does nothing, however, to maintain the intellectual honesty that should be unflinching for a newspaper.

We both know that newspapers (physical and online) have limited space from which to do their job.  If internet technology did not exist for periodicals such as The Day, your policy would be sound and just considering that it would regard the one platform from which readers may express their opinions.

The additional online platform is much more flexible and accommodating in its space and convenience allowances enabling vastly greater numbers of respondents to express their thoughts.  While I agree that baseless and/or pejorative/ad hominem/vulgar language has no place in a published medium, not to allow "online reader comments to ANY letters" is intellectually dishonest, unfair, and frankly a cop-out on your part. It is quite convenient for you to explain away such behavior by noting that since letter writers are required to include contact information, anonymous comments are not allowed simply and solely because they are anonymous.

As I noted earlier, letters to the Editor are often much more lengthy than responses to them.  While it is unrealistic and often cost-prohibitive to publish responses to these letters in the physical form of your newspaper, online responses to even a single letter can be posted and counted in the hundreds in many cases, with little or no cost or logistical issues attached to them.

If you want to admit that vetting such numbers of responses is out of your company's time constraints, do so.  If you want to admit that your (or any of your staff's) personal, political, and/or cultural beliefs prevent you from posting contrary opinions, intellectual honesty and professional duty to fairness obligates you to post at least a certain number of such responses, online or not, anonymous or not; again, as long as they remain cogent and free of the negative attributes I noted above.

As for "Newspapers that have allowed their letter writers to be criticized by anonymous commenters online [seeing] a drop off in letters", it is not your place to accommodate any member of the Public who is unable or who refuses to handle the responsibility of dealing with the publication of their own words. Even your choice of the word "attacks" violates your professional obligation to fairness and impartiality to both your content and your readers. What you consider an "attack" can easily be considered a simple challenge to ones opinions, however direct and abrupt as responses to political issues can be.

As for The Day continuing to receive a "healthy number of letters to the Editor", if this characterization of health results from your current policy, logic and intellectual honesty dictate otherwise.

I love this man!  How can you not?  Rush and Hannity and Coulter love him, and Mark Levin says he should be President one day!
 
 
 
David’s own love and concern for black youth in the ghettos of Milwaukee and elsewhere cannot be doubted, and he knows where criminals and ghettos come from:  “When there are no fathers around to shape a young black boy’s behavior,” he tweeted, “he grows up an unsocialized misfit that cops have to deal with aggressively.  The damage modern liberalism and the Democrat Party have done to the black family is unforgivable.”
 
That’s the truth.  We all know it.  But it seems only David Clarke has the guts to say it.
 
And yet this loving and courageous man faces constant attacks by vulgar liberals offended that he does not stay on the plantation.

He campaigned all over the country for Trump, spoke at the national convention, and guest hosted for Hannity and Glenn Beck.  He’s all over radio and especially Fox News.
 
Now he’s planning a nationwide book tour promoting his soon-to-be best-selling book, Cop Under Fire: Moving Beyond Hashtags for Race, Crime and Politics for a Better America.  He even has a membership at the National Republican Congressional Club on Capitol Hill in Washington, D.C.
 
Hmmmm.
 
My friend, you are not naive, and David Clarke isn’t either.  He is open to this run, and I know we can convince him to do it if enough people sign the Official Sheriff Clarke for Senate Pledge to show him he has local AND national support.
 
David knows how fragile our 52-seat margin is in the Senate, and he knows it includes unreliable RINOs.  He knows his country needs him.  He also knows he can win this thing.
 
Wisconsin has a Republican Governor, and Republicans control both houses of the legislature.  It just re-elected Republican U.S. Senator Ron Johnson, and stunned the so-called experts by voting convincingly for Donald Trump.
 
There are only two state-wide Democrats left: a 76 year-old Secretary of State first elected in 1974, and Tammy Baldwin.
 
Milwaukee County (David’s home) is the state’s most populous by far.  It has 70% of the state’s black voters, and votes horribly liberal.  Trump got only 29% of the vote there, and still won the state.
 
Well, Sheriff Clarke has carried that horribly liberal county FOUR consecutive times, most recently capturing an astounding 79% of the vote.  That’s right: Trump got 29% in the largest county, which Clarke carried by 79% (in part because he’s a life-long resident who gets thousands of votes no white Republican can).
 
Yeah, he’s got a shot.
 
This is a golden opportunity, my friend, and David Clarke is, for us conservatives, a golden unicorn.  The perfect man at the perfect time.
 
How sweet would it be for a black John Wayne to take out a screaming leftist extremist with control of the Senate up for grabs?
 
Senator Johnson (R-Wisconsin) spent $9 million of his own money getting elected.  A cop for 38 years, David Clarke can do no such thing.
 
So we have to do it for him.  You and I, and all of the many other David Clarke fans across this country.
 
Sheriff Clarke ends all of his PSA radio spots with these five words: “Can I count on you?”
 
Well, can he?  Will you sign the OFFICIAL SHERIFF CLARKE FOR SENATE PLEDGE?  Will you become a member of the Draft Campaign by making a contribution to the Draft Sheriff Clarke for Senate committee?
 
Think of all he has done for you and what you believe in on his own, without your support.  But now he needs us, and it’s time to pay him back.

The 26th Amendment ( granting the right to vote for 18 year-olds ) took only three months and eight days to be ratified! Why? Simple! The people demanded it. That was in 1971 - before computers, e-mail, cell phones, etc.
 
Of the 27 amendments to the Constitution, seven (7) took one (1) year or less to become the law of the land - all because of public pressure.

Congressional Reform Act of 2017
 
1. No Tenure / No Pension. A Congressman / woman collects a salary while in office and receives no pay when they're out of office.
 
2. Congress (past, present, & future) participates in Social Security.
 
All funds in the Congressional retirement fund move to the Social Security system immediately. All future funds flow into the Social Security system, and Congress participates with the American people. It may not be used for any other purpose.
 
3. Congress can purchase their own retirement plan, just as all Americans do.
 
4. Congress will no longer vote themselves a pay raise. Congressional pay will rise by the lower of CPI or 3%.
 
5. Congress loses their current health care system and participates in the same health care system as the American people.
 
6. Congress must equally abide by all laws they impose on the American people.
 
7. All contracts with past and present Congressmen/women are void effective 3/1/17. The American people did not make this contract with Congressmen/women.
 
Congress made all these contracts for themselves. Serving in Congress is an honor, not a career. The Founding Fathers envisioned citizen legislators, so ours should serve their term(s), then go home and go back to work.
 
If each person contacts a minimum of twenty people, then it will only take three days for most people in the U.S. to receive the message. It's time!
