I think all sports fans will get a kick out of this letter written to
the Chicago Tribune.... Enjoy !

No matter which side you are on in the matter of renaming the
Washington Redskins, this is funny. This guy is hilarious...
Here is an e-mail sent to Clarence Page of the Chicago Tribune after
an article he published concerning a name change for the Washington
Redskins.

Dear Mr. Page: I agree with our Native American population. I am
highly insulted by the racially charged name of the Washington
Redskins. One might argue that to name a professional football team
after Native Americans would exalt them as fine warriors, but nay,
nay. We must be careful not to offend, and in the spirit of political
correctness and courtesy, we must move forward.

Let's ditch the Kansas City Chiefs, the Atlanta Braves and the
Cleveland Indians. If your shorts are in a wad because of the
reference the name Redskins makes to skin color, then we need to get
rid of the Cleveland Browns.

The Carolina Panthers obviously were named to keep the memory of
militant Blacks from the 60s alive. Gone. It's offensive to us white
folk.

The New York Yankees offend the Southern population. Do you see a team
named for the Confederacy? No! There is no room for any reference to
that tragic war that cost this country so many young men's lives.

I am also offended by the blatant references to the Catholic religion
among our sports team names. Totally inappropriate to have the New
Orleans Saints, the Los Angeles Angels or the San Diego Padres.

Then there are the team names that glorify criminals who raped and
pillaged. We are talking about the horrible Oakland Raiders, the
Minnesota Vikings, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the Pittsburgh
Pirates!

Now, let us address those teams that clearly send the wrong message to
our children. The San Diego Chargers promote irresponsible fighting or
even spending habits. Wrong message to our children.

The New York Giants and the San Francisco Giants promote obesity, a
growing childhood epidemic. Wrong message to our children.

The Cincinnati Reds promote downers/barbiturates. Wrong message to our
children.

The Milwaukee Brewers. Well, that goes without saying. Wrong message
to our children.

So, there you go. We need to support any legislation that comes out to
rectify this travesty, because the government will likely become
involved with this issue, as they should. Just the kind of thing the
do-nothing Congress loves.

As a diehard Oregon State fan, my wife and I, with all of this in
mind, suggest it might also make some sense to change the name of the
Oregon State women's athletic teams to something other than "the
Beavers." (especially when they play Southern California. Do we really
want the Trojans sticking it to the Beavers???)

I always love your articles and I generally agree with them. As for
the Redskins name, I would suggest they change the name to the
"Foreskins" to better represent their community, paying tribute to the
dickheads in Congress.

On Thursday, NLMS board president Dr. George Sprecace received the 2nd biennial Pittaway Lighthouse Keepers Award at a dinner at Tony D's. The award was presented in recognition of George's eight years of advocacy for public access to and the preservation of our local lighthouses.

If you look closely at the picture above, you will note that all the Marines pictured are bowing their heads. That's because they're praying. This incident took place at a recent ceremony honoring the birthday of the corps, and it has the ACLU up in arms. "These are federal employees," says Lucius Traveler, a spokesman for the ACLU, "on federal property and on federal time... For them to pray is clearly an establishment of religion, and we must nip this in the bud immediately."

When asked about the ACLU's charges, Colonel Jack Fessender, speaking for the Commandant of the Corps said,  "To hell with ACLU!  GOD Bless Our Warriors.  Send the ACLU to Afghanistan! Then watch those SONS OF BITCHES pray."

he allowed Hillary to assume authority
over an attempt to health care reform.
 
Even after threats and intimidation,
she couldn't get a vote in a Democrat controlled US Congress.
 
This fiasco cost the American taxpayers
about $13 million
for studies, promotion, and other efforts.
 
Then, President Clinton gave Hillary authority
over selecting a female attorney general.
 
Her first two selections were Zoe Baird and Kimba Wood
- both were forced to withdraw their names from consideration.
 
Next, she chose Janet Reno
- husband Bill described her selection as
"my worst mistake."
 
Some may not remember that
Reno made the decision to gas
David Koresh and the Branch Davidian religious sect
in Waco, Texas resulting in dozens of deaths
of women and children.
 
Husband Bill allowed Hillary
to make recommendations
for the head of the Civil Rights Commission.
Lani Guanier was her selection.
 
When a little probing led to the discovery
of Ms. Guanier's radical views,
her name had to be withdrawn from consideration.
 
Apparently a slow learner,
husband Bill allowed Hillary
to make some more recommendations.
 
She chose former law partners Web Hubbel
for the Justice Department,
Vince Foster for the White House staff,
and
William Kennedy for the Treasury Department.
 
Her selections went well:
Hubbel went to prison,
Foster (presumably) committed suicide,
and Kennedy was forced to resign.
 
Many younger voters will have no knowledge of "Travelgate."
Hillary wanted to award unfettered travel contracts
to Clinton friend Harry Thompson
- and the White House Travel Office refused to comply.
 
She managed
to have them reported to the FBI
and fired.
This ruined their reputations,
cost them their jobs,
and caused a thirty-six month investigation.
 
Only one employee,
Billy Dale
was charged with a crime,
and that of the enormous crime
of mixing personal and White House funds.
A jury acquitted him
of any crime in less than two hours.
 
Still not convinced of her ineptness,
Hillary was allowed to recommend
a close Clinton friend, Craig Livingstone,
for the position of Director of White House security.
 
When Livingstone was investigated
for the improper access
of about 900 FBI files of Clinton enemies (Filegate)
and the widespread use
of drugs by White House staff,
suddenly Hillary
and the President denied even knowing Livingstone,
and of course,
denied knowledge of drug use
in the White House.
 
Following this debacle,
the FBI closed its White House Liaison Office
after more than thirty years of service
to seven presidents.
 
Next, when women started coming forward
with allegations of sexual harassment and rape by Bill Clinton,
Hillary was put in charge of the "bimbo eruption"
and scandal defense.
 
Some of her more notable decisions in the debacle were:
  She urged her husband
not to settle the Paula Jones lawsuit.
After the Starr investigation,
they settled with Ms. Jones.
 
She refused to release the Whitewater documents,
which led to the appointment
of Ken Starr as Special Prosecutor.
 
After $80 million dollars of taxpayer money was spent,
Starr's investigation led to Monica Lewinsky,
which led to Bill lying
about and later admitting his affairs.
 
Hillary's devious game plan
resulted in Bill losing his license
to practice law
for 'lying under oath'
to a grand jury
and then
his subsequent impeachment
by the House of Representatives.
 
Hillary avoided indictment
for perjury and obstruction of justice during the Starr investigation
by repeating, "I do not recall,"
"I have no recollection,"
and
"I don't know"
a total of 56 times
while under oath.
 
After leaving the White House,
Hillary was forced to return
an estimated $200,000 in White House furniture, china, and artwork
that she had "stolen."
 
What a swell person
- ready for another four
or eight years
of this low-life fool?
 
Now we are exposed
to the unsecure keeping and attempted destruction
of beyond Top Secret emails
while Hillary was US Secretary of State
and the "pay to play" schemes
of the Clinton Foundation.

Many of you know I served as a helicopter pilot in Vietnam, in combat nearly every day, and lost some friends. We were tasked regularly to transport bodies of American killed-in-action soldiers to the landing pad designated as "graves registration" for our end of day duty.  Our fighting troops were not always happy about the war, but the ones I dealt with were honorable and should be held in high esteem.  My heart cries when I hear or read of "incidents of disrespect" such as the email below reveals.  God Bless our defenders and first responders who "soldier on" during these shameful times we must struggle through.

This  pretty much summarizes how Obama and most liberals view the US  military.
  
Harold  was a bright child. He grew up in America. He went to school and had a  bright future ahead of  him.   
 
Harold  was full of life but was cut short in a violent moment. While few people had  ever heard of Harold before his death, many did afterward. And in death,  something very shocking happened. What was so shocking, especially when it  is compared to the death of someone else recently in the  news?                        
 
Harold  was Harold Greene, Major General, United States  Army. 
 
On Aug. 5, 2014, Major General Greene was killed by a Taliban terrorist. He  was returned to America with full military  honors.                             

  It has been a tradition that the president attends the funeral of general  and flag officers killed in the line of  duty.
 
Richard  Nixon attended the funeral of a major general killed in Vietnam and George  W. Bush attended the funeral of Lieutenant General Timothy Maude, who was  killed in the 9/11  attacks.                         
 
While  Major General Greene was buried, Barack Obama was golfing. The vice  president wasn't there either.
 
Neither  was the secretary of defense.
 
Flags  were not even lowered half mast

 Four  days after Harold Greene gave his life for America, Michael Brown was killed  in Ferguson, Missouri. Brown was at best a thug. In the minutes before his  death, he committed a robbery at a local convenience store. According to  other reports, Brown struck Officer Darren Wilson and shattered his orbital  bone.                            
 
Obama  sent a three-person delegation to Brown's  funeral!
 
Obama  would not attend the funeral of the highest ranking military officer killed  in the line of duty since 9/11, yet Obama sent a delegation to the funeral  of a  thug.                               

When  Margaret Thatcher, one of America's staunchest allies and Ronald Reagan's  partner in bringing down Soviet communism, died, Obama sent  only a small low-level delegation to her  funeral.                     
 
The snub was not missed by the British.
 
When  Chris Kyle, the most lethal American sniper in history was murdered, there  was no expression of sympathy  from the White  House.                              
 
But  when Whitney Houston died from drug overdose, Obama ordered all flags be  flown at half-mast.
 
There  was no White House delegation at the funeral of an American hero. American  heroes die and Obama goes to the golf course. A thug dies and he gets a  White House delegation.
 
No  wonder the thugs are killing police and most "REAL" Americans hold Obama in  such contempt, especially members of our Military and  Police.

And  the only difference between Obama and Hillary  is that she doesn't play golf.

What is Hijrah?
 
Obama is well educated in the Muslim religion since he studied it while
living in Indonesia. He does not want this email to be spread all over the
US because he wants us to be totally ignorant of what is really going on
with the ISIL movement.
 
This makes all the turmoil now make sense. Sad, and doesn't bode well for us.
 
What is a Hijrah?
Large scale mass migrations become invasions and this actually appears
to be a hijrah as he describes it.........this is NOT going to end well.
 
It appears the policies of the liberal socialist leaders in Europe and
the US do not want to keep these lands from being overrun. Why???
 
I couldn't figure out why other Arab countries ( Saudi Arabia, UAE,
Oman, etc.) weren't taking in refugees, so I started digging.
 
Hijrah is jihad by emigration. It means moving to a new land in order
to bring Islam there and is considered in Islam to be a holy and
revered action. "And whoever emigrates for the cause of Allah will find
on the earth many locations and abundance, and whoever leaves his home
as an emigrant to Allah and His Messenger and then death overtakes him,
his reward has already become incumbent upon Allah." (4:100) So if a
Muslim dies in the process, that's essentially the same as being a
suicide bomber, his reward is automatic. This explains the great
eagerness to undertake such a perilous journey.
 
Muhammad and his followers emigrated from Mecca to Yathrib/Medina in
622 CE. It was there that he became a military leader & still uneducated.
 
This is where all the commands to commit violence against unbelievers
originate from. It's important to note that the Islamic calendar marks
this as the beginning of Islam.
 
This current massive hijrah was announced last January although few paid the announcement much attention.
 
A supporter (or member) of ISIS uploaded a document in Arabic that
urged Muslims to get to Libya for its proximity to southern Europe and
for the important tactical value of its illegal immigration circuits
to facilitate infiltration of European cities ("It has a long coast and
looks upon the southern Crusader states, which can be reached with ease
by even a rudimentary boat").
 
In February, transcripts of telephone intercepts published in Italy
said ISIS was threatening to send 500,000 migrants as a
"psychological weapon" against Europe . The Italian Minister for the
Interior, Angelino Alfano, said at the time, "If the militias of the
Caliphate advance faster than the decisions of the international
community how can we put out the fire in Libya and stem the migration
flows?
 
We are at risk of an exodus without precedent.
 
Also in February, the Turkish intelligence service warned police that
up to 3,000 trained jihadists were seeking to cross into Turkey from
Syria and Iraq and then travel through Bulgaria and Hungary into
western Europe. From Syria , to Hungary & then into the rest of Europe .
 
Sound familiar?
 
In May, a Libyan government adviser warned that Islamic State
operatives were being" smuggled to Europe in migrant boats."
 
ISIS is profiting from the human trafficking trade, forcing boat
owners to hand over their profits or be killed.
 
Some ISIS operatives are already sheltered in safe houses in the south
of the Europe . Groups of men, 17 to 25, from Palestine and Syria ,
cross into Bulgaria and from there move into the rest of the EU. A
former Al Qaeda double agent told the BBC that he knew of two Egyptian
brothers who reached Italy from Libya , accompanied by men who were
"deeply religious and fluent in Italian and French."
 
Go watch the videos of those "refugees" again. How many of the
"refugees" are 17-25 year old men?  Of military age?
 
If that doesn't convince you, we already know terrorists are coming
through with the waves of refugees: a week ago five men were arrested
attempting to cross the Bulgarian-Macedonian border with Islamic State
propaganda, specific Jihadists prayers, and decapitation videos on
their phones.
 
They had been posing as refugees. UK Independence Party leader Nigel
Farage warned: "I fear we face a direct threat to our civilization if
we allow large numbers of people from that war torn region into Europe ."
 
Other Muslim countries are not "taking in" these "refugees" because
this is a hijrah into Europe . This is no humanitarian crisis. It is an
invasion. Its goal is to transform Europe : over tax its economies,
tear down its wealthiest nations, re-draw the demographics and, of
course, the culture.  And our government wants to start letting them
into our Country?  Are we all Forest Gumps?  Is this worth sending on?

The Story of a Frog - An Allegory

"If you place a frog in a pot of boiling water, it will immediately try to
scramble out. But if you place the frog in room temperature water, and don't
scare him, he'll stay put. Now, if the pot sits on a heat source, and if you
gradually turn up the temperature, something very interesting happens. As
the temperature rises from 70 to 80 degrees F., the frog will do nothing. In

ALL Of A Sudden....Seven Short Years Have Passed!

Before Obama, There was virtually no outlandish presence of Islam in America.

. All of a sudden, Islam is taught in schools. Christianity and the bible are banned in schools.

. All of a sudden we must allow prayer rugs everywhere and allow for Islamic prayer in schools, airports, and businesses.

. All of a sudden we must stop serving pork in prisons.

. All of a sudden we are inundated with lawsuits by Muslims who are offended by American culture.

. All of a sudden we must allow burkas to be worn everywhere even though you have no idea who or what is covered up under them.

. All of a sudden Muslims are suing employers and refusing to do their jobs if they personally deem it conflicts with Sharia Law.

. All of a sudden the Attorney General of the United States vows to prosecute anyone who engages in 'anti-Muslim speech'.

. All of a sudden, Jihadists who engage in terrorism and openly admit they acted in the name of Islam and ISIS are emphatically declared they are NOT Islamic by our leaders and/or their actions are determined NOT to be terrorism, but other nebulous terms like 'workplace violence."

. All of a sudden, it becomes Policy that Secular Middle East dictators that were benign or friendly to the West, must be replaced by Islamists and the Muslim Brotherhood.

. All of a sudden our troops are withdrawn from Iraq and the middle east, giving rise to ISIS.

. All of a sudden, America has reduced its nuclear stockpiles to 1950 levels, as Obama's stated goal of a nuke-free America by the time he leaves office continues uninterrupted.

. All of a sudden, a deal with Iran must be made at any cost, with a pathway to nuclear weapons and HUNDREDS of BILLIONS of dollars handed over to fund their programs.

. All of a sudden America APOLOGIZES to Muslim states and sponsors of terror worldwide for acts of aggression, war, and sabotage THEY perpetrate against our soldiers.

. All of a sudden, the American Navy is diminished to 1917 Pre-World War I levels Of only 300 ships. The Army is at pre-1940 levels. The Air Force scraps 500 planes and planned to retire the use of the A-10 Thunderbolt close air support fighter. A further drawdown of another 40,000 military personnel is in progress.

. All of a sudden half of our aircraft carriers are recalled for maintenance by Obama rendering the Atlantic unguarded, NONE are in the Middle East .

. All of a sudden Obama has to empty Guantanamo Bay of captured Jihadists and let them loose in Jihad-friendly Islamic states. He demands to close the facility.

. All of a sudden America will negotiate with terrorists and trade FIVE Taliban commanders for a deserter and Jihad sympathizer.

. All of a sudden there is no money for American poor, disabled veterans, jobless Americans, hungry Americans, or displaced Americans but there is endless money for Obama's "Syrian refugee" resettlement Programs.

. All of sudden there is an ammunition shortage in the USA.

. All of a sudden, the most important thing for Obama to do after a mass shooting by two supporters of RADICAL Islamic Jihad, is disarm American citizens.

. All of a sudden, the President of the United States cannot attend the Christian funerals of a Supreme Court Justice and a former First Lady because of previous (seemingly unimportant) commitments.

       Behind the scenes, NBC technicians and cameramen at the Wednesday night, Commander-in-Chief Forum (Sept 7) report that Hillary Clinton was so angry and incensed that she had been  ‘blind-sided’ by one question she was not prepared for and had not approved in advance.

       “When her time in front of the cameras ended, Clinton shook the hand Lauer extended to her and smiled once more for the wide camera shot and then Hillary proceeded to pick up a full glass of water and threw it at the face of her assistant and the screaming started. She was in a full meltdown and no one on her staff dared speak with her – she went kind of manic and didn't have any control over herself at that point. How   these people work with this woman is amazing to me.  Most of the small military audience were cordoned off, their seating not close to Mrs. Clinton, but certainly they heard her screaming because it was loud...and she really didn't seem to care who heard any of it.”

       Republican Donald Trump also appeared, in a separate telecast from Hillary Clinton’s and arrived with his two sons but no entourage or assistants in tow.  The NBC cameramen involved in his segment said he was a ‘true gentleman’ and Trump and his sons spoke to everyone and thanked them for inviting him to speak: “It was a pleasure to answer your questions Matt.”

       Hillary Clinton’s segment was much different. According to people working on the sidelines, “When Matt posed the one legitimate question about the FBI investigation concerning her homemade server and the unsecured emails, we could see she was beginning to boil and her eyes looked to pop.”

       “It was toward the end of her interview so she was becoming unglued by the time Lauer finished with questioning.  Hillary went ballistic, throwing a huge tantrum and screaming at her staff, “you f - - - ing idiots, you were supposed to have this thing set up for me and you’ve screwed it up!   If that f - - - ing bastard wins we all hang from nooses!   Lauer’s finished...and if I lose it’s all on you ass - - - - s for screwing this up.”

       Clinton finally stormed off the military ‘set’ and the assistant producer said she was screaming that she wanted to talk to “the idiot who set this mess up...you do not blindside me - ever!” and continued to demand to speak with executives at Comcast, parent company to NBC Universal.

       Her dozen or more aides were visibly disturbed and tried to calm her down when she started shaking uncontrollably.  That did not stop her from demanding an executive “on the phone, now!”  She was told the executive-in-charge of the forum was ready to talk with her and she was led away by two rather large aides who appeared to help her walk.

       The TV executives got the message with all of the censuring headlines that followed over the next couple of days when it seemed the entire media turned on Matt Lauer for behaving in a “partisan” manner and “being grossly unfair and critical of the former secretary of state.”

      Matt Lauer was heavily criticized on air by the Clinton campaign the rest of the week with most of the mainstream media joining in.  The media appeared to frame Matt’s one serious question as the Clinton campaign was doing...”an unfair and partisan attack on Mrs. Clinton.”

       Matt Lauer is still facing major backlash following his 23 minutes with Hillary Clinton.  Privately, many reporters said Matt handed the Democrat nominee the expected softball questions, but made the decision to ask about the emails because, “the American people deserve an answer from the former secretary of state.”

      Calls were made to New York Times, Washington Post and Huffington Post and Twitter executives with orders to “Crush Matt Lauer”.   As you can easily see with all the headlines from these MSM sources, they did as they were told by the Clinton campaign.

     Hillary also screamed that she would be “treated with respect at the debates or heads will roll.”   Staffers at the Clinton campaign report that they fear her wrath and uncontrollable outbursts, and one described Hillary as  “an egotistical psychopath”.

     Since Hillary does not allow any staff to have cell phones when she is in their presence, no footage is available, but Hillary will never let this rest.  She has made it clear that she wants Matt Lauer to be “persona non grata - for putting her on the spot.”

      Interim DNC chairman Donna Brazile, the first black woman to hold the position, was singled out by Hillary during the rant.   She screamed at Donna, “I’m so sick of your face.   You stare at the wall like a brain dead buffalo, while letting that f - - - ing Lauer get away with this.   What are you good for, really?   Get the f - - - to work  janitoring this mess - do I make myself clear?”

       A female NBC executive said that Donna Brazile looked at Mrs. Clinton and never flinched, which seemed to enrage Hillary all the more.  The executive continued, “It was the most awful and terrible...and racist display – such a profane meltdown I have ever witnessed from anyone,  and I will never forget it.  That woman should never see the inside of the oval office I can tell you that.  She was unhinged and just continued to verbally abuse everyone – she was out of control.”

I used to think I was just a regular senior citizen.
 
- I was born white, which now, whether I like it or not, makes me a racist.
 
- I am a fiscal and moral conservative, which by today’s standards, apparently makes me a fascist.
 
- I am heterosexual, which according to gay people, now makes me a homophobe.
 
- I am a practicing Christian, which now labels me as an infidel.
 
- I am older than 75 and retired, which makes me a useless old man.
 
- I think and I reason, therefore I doubt much that the main stream media tells me, which makes me a reactionary.
 
- I am proud of my heritage and our inclusive American culture, which makes me a xenophobe.
 
- I value my safety and that of my family and I appreciate the police and the legal system, which makes me a right-wing extremist.
 
- I believe in hard work, fair play, and fair compensation according to each individual's merits, which today makes me an anti-socialist.
 
- I, and most of the people I know, acquired a fair education without student loans (it’s called work) and no debt at graduation, which makes me some kind of an odd underachiever.
 
- I believe in the defense and protection of our country for and by all citizens, which now makes me a militant.
 
- Please help me come to terms with the new me… because I‘m just not sure who I am anymore.

About those unthinking, backward Catholics

Back in 2008, in the weeks leading up to the Obama-McCain presidential election, two young men visited me in Denver. They were from Catholics United, a group describing itself as committed to social justice issues. They voiced great concern at the manipulative skill of Catholic agents for the Republican Party. And they hoped my brother bishops and I would resist identifying the Church with single-issue and partisan (read: abortion) politics.

It was an interesting experience. Both men were obvious flacks for the Obama campaign and the Democratic Party — creatures of a political machine, not men of the Church; less concerned with Catholic teaching than with its influence. And presumably (for them) bishops were dumb enough to be used as tools, or at least prevented from helping the other side.

Yet these two young men not only equaled but surpassed their Republican cousins in the talents of servile partisan hustling. Thanks to their work, and activists like them, American Catholics helped to elect an administration that has been the most stubbornly unfriendly to religious believers, institutions, concerns and liberty in generations.

I never saw either young man again. The cultural damage done by the current White House has — apparently — made courting America’s bishops unnecessary.

But bad can always get worse. I’m thinking, of course, of the contemptuously anti-Catholic emails exchanged among members of the Clinton Democratic presidential campaign team and released this week by WikiLeaks. A sample: Sandy Newman, president of Voices for Progress, emailed John Podesta, now the head of Hillary Clinton’s campaign, to ask about whether “the bishops opposing contraceptive coverage” could be the tinder for a revolution. “There needs to be a Catholic Spring, in which Catholics themselves demand the end of a middle ages [sic] dictatorship,” Newman writes.

Of course, Newman added, “this idea may just reveal my total lack of understanding of the Catholic church, the economic power it can bring to bear against nuns and priests who count on it for their maintenance.” Still, he wondered, how would one “plant the seeds of a revolution”? John Podesta replied that “We created Catholics in Alliance for the Common Good to organize for a moment like this . . . likewise Catholics United” (emphasis added).

Another Clinton-related email, from John Halpin of the Center for American Progress, mocks Catholics in the so-called conservative movement, especially converts: “They must be attracted to the systematic thought and severely backwards gender relations and must be totally unaware of Christian democracy.” In a follow-up, he adds “They can throw around ‘Thomistic’ thought and ‘subsidiarity’ and sound sophisticated because no one knows what . . . they’re talking about.”

On the evening these WikiLeaks emails were released, I received the following angry email myself, this one from a nationally respected (non-Catholic) attorney experienced in Church-state affairs:
“I was deeply offended by the [Clinton team] emails, which are some of the worst bigotry by a political machine I have seen. [A] Church has an absolute right to protect itself when under attack as a faith and Church by civil political forces. That certainly applies here …

“Over the last eight years there has been strong evidence that the current administration, with which these people share values, has been very hostile to religious organizations. Now there is clear proof that this approach is deliberate and will accelerate if these actors have any continuing, let alone louder, say in government.

“These bigots are actively strategizing how to shape Catholicism not to be Catholic or consistent with Jesus’ teachings, but to be the ‘religion’ they want. They are, at the very core, trying to turn religion to their secular view of right and wrong consistent with their politics. This is fundamentally why the Founders left England and demanded that government not have any voice in religion. Look where we are now. We have political actors trying to orchestrate a coup to destroy Catholic values, and they even analogize their takeover to a coup in the Middle East, which amplifies their bigotry and hatred of the Church. I had hoped I would never see this day — a day like so many dark days in Eastern Europe that led to the death of my [Protestant minister] great grandfather at the hands of communists who also hated and wanted to destroy religion.”

Of course it would be wonderful for the Clinton campaign to repudiate the content of these ugly WikiLeaks emails. All of us backward-thinking Catholics who actually believe what Scripture and the Church teach would be so very grateful.

In the meantime, a friend describes the choice facing voters in November this way: A vulgar, boorish lout and disrespecter of women, with a serious impulse control problem; or a scheming, robotic liar with a lifelong appetite for power and an entourage riddled with anti-Catholic bigots.

In a nation where “choice” is now the unofficial state religion, the menu for dinner is remarkably small.

Hillary Clinton's corruption is undeniable.

The most recent email release from Hillary's hacked server highlights a number of disconcerting facts that point to collusion between the Justice Department, the media, and Hillary's presidential campaign.

Hillary's deceptive, manipulative tactics know no bounds.

The latest emails prove that:
•    The Justice Department conspired with Clinton's campaign.
The executive agency informed a Clinton spokesman and former DOJ employee of the imminent congressional hearings on Hillary's private server.
•    The Clinton campaign tried to use one scandal to cover up another.
Clinton's team attempted to use Benghazi, which resulted in the murder of four Americans, to deflect attention from her illegal private server.
•    The media's pro-Hillary bias is now indisputable.
CNN contributor and then DNC vice-chair, Donna Brazile, shared information on the primary debate questions with Hillary's campaign ahead of the Democratic town hall.
In all three, separate controversies, Hillary employed the same strategy- lie, deny, and hide the truth to avoid responsibility for her willful deceptions.

The depths of Hillary's deceit are undeniable, and the most recent batch of emails confirm that Clinton's corruption is infectious- permeating executive agencies that are required to remain impartial.

We have less than 30 days to prevent Hillary's unchecked criminality from seeping into the White House.
