Offerings by George A. Sprecace M.D., J.D.:
ADHD AND GENIUS: It is now suspected that persons like Albert Einstein and Thomas Edison probably had ADHD. Where would they and we have been if they had been placed on supressor medication. Consider that when your child's school or physician suggests the need for drug treatment of your child. The drugs have a role in the treatment of ADHD..but not as a tranquilizer or baby-sitter. Remember also that one of the most common causes of a child acting up in school is BOREDOM, especially for a bright child - which these children tend to be. Treat the boredom...with educational enrichment, and if necessary with a change in school.More Relevant Offerings:GS
