WHAT'S RIGHT WITH THE CATHOLIC CHURCH #205

Rapid Response for SUNDAY, March 18, 2018

"ON THE OTHER HAND..."
Having just offered several articles from the WSJ Review of March 17-18, 2018, I now offer one article from the NYTimes Sunday Review of March 18. As usual, most of the other articles and editorials in this weekly section continue to be fevered Jeremiads against President Trump.
("'Tis a tale as told by an idiot, full of sound and fury, signifying nothing").
But this one is very good: factual, sensitive, even sympathetic:
"Pope Francis Is Beloved. His Papacy Might Be a Disaster", by Ross Douthat, (SR p.1).
The Roman Catholic Church has been interesting and relevant to the world for over 2,000 years, for Catholics and non-Catholics alike. So, Stay Tuned.
