quick reactions by myself to news and events of the day, day by day, in
this rapid-fire world of ours. Of course, as in military
campaigns,
a rapid response in one direction may occasionally have to be followed
by a "strategic withdrawal" in another direction. Charge that
to
"the fog of war", and to the necessary flexibility any mental or
military
campaign must maintain to be effective. But the mission will
always
be the same: common sense, based upon facts and "real politick",
supported
by a visceral sense of Justice and a commitment to be
pro-active.

Dick's
Sporting Goods couldn't wait to brag about their anti-life stand
following the Supreme Court’s ruling overturning Roe v. Wade last
Friday.
Within
minutes of the SCOTUS announcement, Dick's Executive Chairman Ed Stack
paraded the company's decision to provide up to $4,000 in travel
expenses to any employee, spouse or dependent who chooses to get an
abortion.
In
an urgent public message via Twitter, Stack touted the pro-death policy
as something to be proud of, effectively demonstrating the death
culture of the sporting goods retailer.
When
asked if Dick's would also be giving $4,000 to employees who decide to
carry their babies to term, and either keep them or put them up for
adoption, Stack and his company refused to answer the question.
Knowing
Dick's Sporting Goods uses its profits to continue to support abortions
nationwide, will you take a moment to stand with us against companies
promoting evil?
TAKE ACTION
1.
Sign our petition to Dick's Sporting Goods, urging Chairman Ed Stack to
stop his company’s funding of the evil and brutal death of innocent
unborn babies.
2.
Call your local store manager (find the number for your local store
here) and politely let them know you are disappointed in having a
company in your community who uses profits to take the life of innocent
babies.

DURING THE LONDON BLITZ, THE

Sorry, but I have to say that - with
one exception - there is no good news.
- The
one exception is the USSC decision overturning Roe v. Wade: a decision
unworthy of its original authors - fabricated with no basis in Law, in
Medicine or in Morality. It's about time.
- The
USSC is not Final because it is "infallible". It is
"infallible" because it is Final. Other recent worthwhile
examples include its Holding regarding gun laws and on Freedom of
Religion.
- We are
learning that Nuclear Power, always the logical if abandoned alternative
to fossil fuels, has been allowed to decline in knowledge, technology and
economic availability. SHAMEFUL.
- Public
Education in America: also largely Shameful, thanks to the intransigence
of the Teachers Unions, continues to oppose School Choice. See: "Betsy
De Vos Is On A Mission To Rescue Teachers Unions'
'Hostages'"., by Jason L. Riley (in WSJ June 22, 2022, Opinion,
pA17).
- "The
Decline of a Nation", by Cal Thomas (in The Day June 22, 2022).

Mayi 29, 2022). Also involving Russia. And We Would Lose.

WHAT I HAVE REALIZED IN RECENT
MONTHS OF PAYING ATTENTION IS THAT THIS NEW, FOREIGN AND DESPOTIC WAY OF
THINKING CALED "WOKE"
IS MUCH FARTHER ALONG IN AMERICA
THAN I HAD RECOGNIZED.
And there is precedent for this
experience.
In Nazi Germany, Hitler and his
Brownshirts came up over years "legitimately" through a political
process energized by a broken economy and a demoralized citizenry.
In America, the Left and its Woke
tactics have come up through an education system gradually and now
substantially infused with a Culture of "ME" without any other
guiding principle...like Morality.
In both movements there was and is
no tolerance for alternative ideas or actions.
As we have seen and now are seeing,
both movements are very dangerous...not only from the perpetrators but even
more so from the explosive counter-action they ultimately produce from those
opposed.
Is it too late to right this
foundering society and Ship of State?
By No Means...IF we defend and
exercise our right to Vote and Choose in the next two national elections.

several very serious domestic problems and a failing asterisk-president,
it would do well for all of us to
review the many successes that President Trump had during his one term -
despite political incoming from all sides.
The easiest way to do that is to
read or re-read the statement published by William A. Galston in the WSJ on
November 14-15 and entitled:
"TRUMP REMADE HIS PARTY AND THE
WORLD."
It won't hurt. It might even help to
overcome "Trump Derangement Syndrome" of the "Never
Trumpers". You would be much healthier - and much better informed.

REGARDING THE NATIONAL
"KILLING BEE".
Having offered only short prior
comments on this other pandemic, I guess I'm as ready as I'll ever be to
address this tragic and vexing matter. So here goes:
1) GUNS
DON'T KILL PEOPLE. PEOPLE KILL PEOPLE. Re-read this to get it INTO
YOUR HEADS.
2) At this
very time when, according to Professor Alan Dershowitz, "our Democracy
is in danger", don't try to disarm law-abiding Americans. It
won't go well. The Second Amendment protects also the right of self-defense
AGAINST A DESPOTIC GOVERNMENT.
3)
Nevertheless, certain actions can and should be taken:
a) more careful application and
registration to own guns of all types, consistent with the Second Amendment.
b) carefully applied "Red
Flag" laws which would both protect "whistle-blowers" including
mental health professionals and also provide those questioned the real right to
rebut factually and effectively such charges.
c) LAW AND ORDER, throughout the
country:
1) effectively trained AND effective
policing, including effective supression of street crime.
2) lawful and effective Prosecuting,
with more clearly defined and circumscribed rules for prosecutors - who
currently have too much discretion / power, sometimes ABUSED;
3) Judges who apply Statutory Law
first and personal discretion secondarily.
4) Better and more available mental
health diagnosis and treatment...including effective Involuntary
Commitment.
5) Schools and children are a
special case. All schools should be hardened
as to security and access and self-defense. When I was a physician in the Army
Medical Corps, we were given a choice of a .45 calibre handgun or a Carbine for
defense of self and of the patients under our care. Given the current crisis,
no less should be expected of teachers. This is their responsibility
also.
IT HAS BEEN NOTED THAT IN RECENT
YEARS PEOPLE HAVE BECOME MORE ANGRY, MORE EASILY UPSET, LESS CONTROLLED, LESS
HUMAINE, LESS ABLE TO INTERACT WITH OTHERS DIRECTLY RATHER THAN BY MEANS OF THE
DEHUMANIZING GISMOS, AND CERTAINLY LESS MORAL / ETHICAL.
To that I can only say: WHERE WERE /

Full of accurate Carlson
reportage immediately demeaned and libeled (if that is any longer possible by
our faux journalism mainstream press) by the author, the article actually
provides a very good summary of the issues that are stoking White Anger
in at least half of the American Population.
This Nation is "going to hell
in a handbasket" and Americans are NOT HAPPY.
